No, the first thing I do is go on WordDoc. and continue to work on my story. I'm something of a part-time author; I write as a hobby. But actually I prefer to write stories and ideas down by hand... it's just that computers are sometimes quicker, though they often shut off on me in the middle of a sentence and all I've written is lost. So I prefer pencil and paper, thank-you.
After that, I check my E-Mails. Still, I prefer hand-written letters over E-Mails, they seem more real-- like the person is actually with you, not far away... you can smell them in the paper, you can feel them in the writing. The unique print is much more meaningful than the endless boring computer-generated fonts.
Then I check anything else that is absolutely neccessary. If I still have some free-time I look at less important things like Fanpop and IM.
