Okay.. Here toi Go.. Its actually known as Bindi.. As toi know that India is a Spiritual country.. In ancient days, Kumkum (which is made from the turmeric powder is an auspicious symbol )used for social and religious markings in Hinduism.Kumkum is applied to the forehead of a visiting girl ou married woman as a sign of blessing and respect. However, it is not offered to widows.

Their is a plus Spiritual Aspect of Kumkum.. Lemme know if toi want to know that too.. :)

But now a Days, as with the Change in Time & Lack of Time, Woman do wear the same RED Mark on the forehead but its ARTIFICIAL.. like Bindi.. but in actual its all About Kumkum...!!

However, Still in India, We apply Kumkum on our forhead if we have some osrt of Pooja ou we gotta go visit some Temple.. n all.. :)
