Over the past week some of the comic book images for the new Riders of Berk comics (Issue 1 coming out Dec. 12th 2012) were released to the public. Issue 1 will be a 14 page story called "The Two Thousand Terrible Terrors" and will cost 3.99 each. They are a dit to be, "nicely integrated with the show".

Apparently episode 8 of DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk will montrer Hiccup as a "buff young man". The episode is apparently named "Portrait of Hiccup as a Buff Young Man". It is still unclear weather it is a rumor althought it is all over the internet and virtual TV guide.
In an interveiw with an anonymous source from DreamWorks new details were released about HTTYD 2.

Anonymous: "What I can say without spilling details is that there is a tribe of new characters that are NOT Vikings, a bad a** villian that would rival Stoick, and a new dragon like no other".
Interviewer: "Ah, the Romans have arrived..."
A: "NO ROMANS! But something far plus cooler"!!
I: "Cooler"?
A: "I think Tribal Warriors and Slavic Raiders are cooler... just sayin'".
