It really depends on who they get to direct it.

It is a great storyline. It doesnt matter who directs it. It will still be good. It may not be spectacular with a bad director but it will still be a good watch.

i personally think that they had changed the whole story line in the 5th movie and left out TOOOO much. So, if they pick that same directer than it wont b good at all cuz they will change it and leave out to much.

for me the decision to keep on yates was laughable. cuaron was the only director so far to make a decent movie, anyone doing this movie has to frame it around Radcliffes wooden acting. i do love the casting of Broadbent as Slughorn though

I wasn't too crazy about the 5th movie. Since they asked the same director who did that to do the 6th, I'm not so sure...but we'll see when it comes out, I guess. =)

Im hopful...but the last movie (Order of the Pheonix) SUCKED...They left out Snape in the Order, which is an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DETAIL IN THE PLOT!!! They left out ron on the quittage team, CHO didnt turn in Dumbledores Army HER FRIEND DID!!!, and for god sakes you cant just BLOW DOWN THE WALL OF THE F**K*NG ROOM OF REQUIREMENT!!!

the next movie (Half-Blood Prince) will have the same director, so i doubt it will live up to our expectations...One upside, though is that ron will be playing quittage (you can see the videos for the next movie at www.mugglenet.com)

I will pray that they get some common sence to replace the director before the final movie (deathly Hallows)

well i was expecting the 5th movie to be as good as the book, but it wasn't and if they are asking the same director to do half-blood prince i don't think the movie will be good. i hope they get the director from the 3rd movie (prisoner of askban) to do the final movie because he did a grate job with the 3rd movie.

I don't want to give into my pessimism, so I hope that it will be good, great, awesome.

i dont know, the director for the 5th movie didn't explain the prophecy and such well and since he's directing the 6th, i'm lowering my standards, but i have hope he'll do better

I enjoyed the 5th movie, so I'm stoked that Yates is back for movie 6. Can't wait, I'll be there for the midnight release!

Ok this was my point from before, Ron on the Quidditch team was put into HBP, so you all can stop whining about it, cuz they PUT IT IN THERE (and YES, I know that these comments were made a long time ago, but STILL!). It was a great movie, and it is now my favorite. And for those who said that they didn't put the "Snape being in the Order part" in OOTP, you obviously were not paying attention whatsoever because they DID say that he was. DUH. If your going to critisize a movie, at least get your facts straight.

Also, so they did ONE different character for turning in the DA, so? Marietta wasn't even IN this movie, probably because no one would know who she was since she wasn't gonna be in much of the movie anyway! Just PLEASE try to think in the Director's point of view. You can't make everyone happy, and honestly, compared to how much detail there actually IS in Harry Potter, David Yates and all of the other directors are doing a fabulous job. End of story for me, and I have complete confidence in David Yates for the Deathly Hallows films.

Of course, I built up my expectations and it didn't match up. I guess I was being unreasonable, they got David Yates back so I really shouldn't have expected anything but a few montages, some cool CGI, and lots of important plot missing. It was better than OotP but it still wasn't NEARLY as good as the earlier ones.
