Why do some Twilight fans hate Harry Potter so much?

Again, disliking Harry Potter has nothing to do with Twilight for a lot of people. (There are people who don't like either, toi know?)

The only reason toi saw Twilight fandom as a common factor in the people who insulted HP is because the question was in the Twilight spot. Go to any other book series, movie, ou télévision montrer spot and compare it to Harry Potter and you'll be compelled to ask "Why do Glee fans hate Harry Potter. One of them a dit it's lame and boring, but why the hate?"

1st its not all twilight fans. i l’amour twilight and harry potter but twilight more.
2nd i also wonder why all the hate. it makes no sence to hate on another film because i bet the actors dont fight like this
3rd it may just be there opinion to call hp retarded which i know is stupid to say but if it what they think and like toi kinda have to respect it xx

uhh i don't know. I guess twilight fans are just jealous of the HP fans, donné the fact that HP is a lot plus successful. I don't know really. I actually liked the first Twilight movie, but the other ones... Too much l’amour involved. There is no reason for all the hate, but it's just that there's a war going on and we can either keep fighting ou we settle this out peacefully.

its not all twilight fans and it is vice versa. for me, i think hate is a strong word, i would rather say dislike. i dislike the series personally. i have my reasons but this is not my point for the question. the thing is the history behind this huge feud is unclear. thats the whole point. actually. because there is no clear point we just defend whatever side we are on. some people actually engage in actually debates which dont included statements like Hp is retarded. which i think in literary terms is a good thing. basically its like and online book club. the important thing to note is that the hate that bugs people comes from arguments par people who have not even read and/or either series. they just argue for the sake of it.

Speaking as a fan of both, I would have to say that I think we fight because:
1. It's the two biggest films in the last couple years
2. Because of number one, we're always trying to out do each other
3. Because Twi-Hard's and Potterheads have been in war for a long time :(

Basically toi have the hardcore fans of one fandom and the hardcore fans of another and like most hardcore fans they believe the thing they l’amour is the best so some of them are blinded away from the logic of "why the f**k am I even having this argument when nobody really gives a crap?" par their intense l’amour for their favourite series and become intent in trying to prove their point even though the person their arguing with is never going to see that point due to posessing the exact same intense l’amour for their favourite series, hence the huge feud between the fandoms.

Although I believe it's kind of OK to have that on this spot since it's a "VS" spot and therefore basically implies some kind of battle, this spot was pretty much made for this feud. :P

well i say harry potter is lame because who like s wizards i mean he have done porno and he is retared and we are geting tired of the mom and dad story he parents are gone in moive why keep bring them back and twilight is better and glacière because something that is populaire vampires vs werewolfs are cool wizards vs wizards are lame and also if toi did not get the memo he has porno and he is gay
