Well - She was the Queen of Charn, later declared herself Queen of Narnia. She kept Narnia under her control for one hundred years, using both her power with ice and stone. In my opinion, she wins here.

Walker93 - Not necessarily, The White Witch is also The Lady of Green Kirtle, so that makes three books. But besides that, that has nothing to do with power. Not to mention Voldemort was extremely weak and practically dead in some of the Harry Potter books.

The White Witch is by far more powerful. She ruled Narnia for over 100 years covering it in an icy winter.Voldemort can't even live that long, she's lived for 1000's of years, and in Narnia they say you can never really kill a witch! She lives in an enormous ice castle. Voldemort lives most his life in hiding. She is half giant, which makes her incredibly strong. She is seven feet tall! She is capable of breaking iron with her bare hands and lifting human beings (or in this case old wizards) off their feet! With one cruel spell she ended all the life in the universe of Charn. She has amazing combat skills. She can wild several weapons. With a wave of her wand she can turn you into stone! She has commanded and lead huge armies in to war. The White Witch is the ultimate evil and capable of cruelty beyond imaginable.

You might not get all that from the movies (which I love) but you will from the books. Don't get me wrong I LOVE harry potter too, but come on, the White Witch clearly owns Voldemort on every level.

Voldemort doesn't need to touch the object with a staff to petrify or kill someone, because he has a wand and can do that stuff at a distance. He's got more of a fear-factor that way.

i luked at it this way:
the white witch was killed by aslan n peter(who is only lyk 12 or 14 cant remeber which) with the help of edmund(who is either 12 or 10)
voldemort was "killed" by harry wen he was 1 but he only "died" becauz his spelled rebounded and voldemort also had 7(technically 8) horcruxes which means the white witch wud first hav to destroy all the horcruxes(not to mention find them) before she cud kill vodemort
voldemort on the other hand cud kill the white witch before she cud even think to kill the horcruxes
so definitely voldemort

He is the most dangerous dark wizard of all time.
Plus, it's true that possesing a wand and thus being able to kill your opponents from the distance is a great benefit as well.

JADIS because
1. She has deadly proficiency and belligerence in using her stone dagger and swords
2. She could turn Voldie into a stone before he could even cast Avada Kedavra
3. She could use The Deplorable Word to destroy all of the witches and wizards in Hogwarts

Even Voldie is immortal, Jadis could just turn him to stone, hide him in her castle, threaten the wizards to tell her his secret to immortality and use Deplorable Word to destroy all of Hogwarts, hunt down the horcruxes and then after destroying them, destroy the stoned Voldie. That's too easy for her :)

Voldemort can just THINK Avada Kedavra and bam, she's dead. Heck, if he wanted he could do imperio or crucio, take his time and have fun with it.

I agree with JC and Jadises. Jadis is also immortal more so than Voldemort as he has a weakness to his immoratily find his heart and kill him, Jadis has no weakness as for her wand it was not used for magic or casting spells it was a weapon and nothing more. Jadis in Narnia kept out father christmas and the Roman god Bacchus for a 100 years (in the book LWW). Magic spells would not work on Jadis and she thought anyone who had to use books and rules as nothing more than little peddling magicians and there kind was made an end of 1000 years ago on her own world Charn. The Deplorable Word is so powerful that it can kill all living things and we know Jadis used it once, she destoryed her own world of Charn for when she left it it just vanished into nothing as if it never existed. Voldemort hasn't a quarter of the power Jadis has and never will, just to add that when Jadis summoned up her army in the book she summoned up things that Lewis said he could not name as your parents would not allow you to read the book, what she summoned up was Demons like herself for she is desended from Lilith the mother of all Demons and a Demon will kick Voldemort's and the rest of them to hell and back.

I actually don't know... they're both so powerful.
