Elena entered the living room and worriedly looked at her brother.
“No one” Jeremy quickly said, his head turning red. “The television” Elena looked at the TV. “Since when do toi watch The Simpsons? toi hate it” she a dit frowning. “Yeah, so does Bonnie” Jeremy explained. “Oh, I get it” Elena a dit understanding. She sank down suivant to him, Jeremy looked at the spot she sat on. “What? Am I sitting on something?” Elena quickly asked. Jeremy shook his head. “No, no. All’s clear” he a dit distracted.
Jeremy raised his eyebrows. “Are toi sure it’s just about that? Like, toi haven’t been to the Salvatore house since last week, when toi checked on Damon. I thought toi were working on something?”
Elena shrugged. “I’ve been thinking about it and it seems best if I just leave it to the police. I mean, it’s their job” she a dit bored. Jeremy nodded.
“Jeremy, can toi please tell your sister to get off my lap?” Anna asked. Jeremy’s face stiffened. “What’s wrong?” Elena asked. “Nothing” Jeremy said, forcing a smile
“It was me” Meg said. Sam had freed her from her prison and now she was going to free Cas of his. She had to promise Sam she wouldn’t try to get out until they were far gone. Because as soon as soon Cas was out they were going to hit the road an drive as far away as possible.
“I killed Jack and I killed Paul Morgan. Cas has nothing to do with it. I was trying to protect him. Jack was asking too many questions and Paul knew too much already. There were people trying to hurt Cas and I tried to give him a low profile. But it didn’t really work out. I don’t want a lawyer. I don’t want a trial. Just give me the maximum penalty and I’ll accept it”
Isabel stared at her, a little puzzled, but also thrilled. She got Jack and Paul’s killer. Now no one would question her competence as an inspector again. She cuffed Meg’s hands and brought her to a cell.
