Girls’ Generation Tops Three Oricon Charts, Bags Triple Crown

Girls’ Generation won the triple crown on Oricon Chart, proving that they are still strong in the game.

According to Oricon Chart on April 2, “Girls’ Generation the Best Live at Tokyo Dome” topped the daily DVD chart after its release on April 1. It also ranked first in both the DVD music chart and Blu-ray Disc chart.

“Girls’ Generation the Best Live at Tokyo Dome” contains the group’s performance at Tokyo Dome last December. Not only was this their first concert at the venue, but the entirely sold out tickets showed the fans’ great support as well. This was especially notable because it showed the group’s undying popularity, despite Jessica’s absence.

Meanwhile, Super Junior D&E’s “Present” was also released on the same day and ranked second place on the daily album chart, selling 50,756 copies on the first day alone. BTOB’s “Future,” released on March 25, took second place on the single chart, selling 75,607 copies its first week.
