Ginevra "Ginny" Weasley Do toi think Ginny's relationship with Harry in the Half-Blood Prince MOVIE was just a tiny bit forced?

It's Hollywood. It's always the same for books to movies. If they don't have a love story, they'll make one up, if it does, they'll make it come on STRONG.

Hmmm seems a pity, that they COULD have made it flow more naturally...but i guess we still have the books that capture the relationship more natural and everything :)

It was totally forced, the movies spent far too much time building up Harry/Hermione and ignoring Ginny as much as possible. Sad thing is I really didn't expect anything else from them..

I found it really awkward in the film. I also didn't like how they changed the location of their kiss - they reused the same place as Harry/Cho, and it lost the significance of Harry kissing her in public after spending months agonising over how Ron could react.

I'm not sure how they'd have made it work more clearly though. In the books, so much of Harry's thoughts and feelings about Ginny are internal. He doesn't exactly talk about it.
