Ah, yes. This pick definitely. If the dude's an arse, I'm going to hate him. If she's a sexist, I'm going to hate her. It doesn't matter if he's gay or if she's lesbian, their conduct and behavior is what's important.

Well, truthfully, I've never been in the company of someone who wasn't straight. I don't know many people who are. However, I am sure that I would be fine with it, as long as they aren't annoying or just plain mean.

The thing is, I know a couple of not straight people, and I have no idea why, but I automatically liked them for no reason at all. Like in a book, gay people are 99% of the time my favourite characters.
*SPOILER ALERT* for example in Percy Jackson, Nico is gay, and he's my favourite character (I actually have a crush on him, but it's a secret ;p), and in the Mortal Instruments, Alec and Magnus are gay and Magnus is my favourite character (I also have a crush on him, but that's not a secret) ;) So yeah, I don't know why but I normally like gay people a lot, even if I'm not.

I've met plenty of assholes in my time, straight and non. Personality is key, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, creed, race, or background.
