The BAFTA tea also cleared up another mystery: Maisie’s new tattoo, of the date “07.08.09.” She tells

: “It’s the 7th of August and not the 8th of July — because in the UK we put our dates the other way around,” she explains. “It was the day I found out I got the part in Game of Thrones.” Sophie Turner found out on the same day, hence the matching tattoos.

Best Drama, best Directing, best supporting actor, and best supporting actress, and hopefully best writing lol though I think we might lose one or two lol also go Fargo 😀

Of course I’ll watch.If I don’t fall asleep first lol it’s tough being European during award shows.I’m very positive about Game of Thrones chances tonight.The only categories I’m worried about are the acting ones.Vote spliting may play a chance.

I think I just saw a photo of George RR Martin and Willy Wonka.

I’m kind of disappointed that I haven’t seen any photos of Maisie and Millie together, that would have been a fun meeting (incidentally,

Stranger Things had better win the casting Emmy next year for finding all those wonderful kids).

I’d love to watch the awards tonight but they start at 3 am in my time zone and I have to take 2 college tests tomorrow morning, so I’ll try to sleep early 🙁

I’m 1000% certain we’ll win Directing, 90% about Best Drama and 60% about Kit lol. I don’t know about the rest…

So glad to see some of the cast having fun and celebrating an amazing season of GoT!! I will be watching and praying for all of the nominees to take home that Emmy!!🙏 Cheering especially hard for Kit! He was amazing this season! The awards aren’t shown anywhere live on TV in the UK ( not that I would stay up until stupid o’ clock to watch them personally), so it’s case of trying to find a live stream for those who are hoping to see it. Or just follow tweets or text updates…

We have only highlights the next day and then only on a minor pay to view channel.

Wow, Maisie has gone from adorable to stunning!

Probably won’t watch, but I’ll be checking the Huffington Post stream now and then. Good luck to everyone!

I find Emilia to be one of the most beautiful girls in the business yet for some reason over the past 2-3 years, her styling and fashion has been the worst/dullest I have seen. She looks like she needs a hair brush here and her dress could have belonged to a grandma! Her hair these days either looks messy or bland and her dresses all look unflattering for her figure and body type. Shes definitely not fat but those dresses make her look short and stumpy.

I miss how gorgeous she used to look in events and on the red carpet few years back (back when she was promoting seasons 1-3 of GOT). With just the right styling, she could look absolutely ethereal.

On the other hand, I am extremely impressed with Maisie! Shes like the opposite of Emilia. She might not be the prettiest girl out there and her styling was definitely not the best few years ago but recently she has been wearing outfits that are extremely flattering on her. Shes looking absolutely lovely today.

Maisie is totally pretty. Love her quirky dresses! The rocket pattern is so cute. She needs to start her own funky fashion line.

Looking forward to seeing Lena too! Don’t think she’d skip this one.

I’ll watch as much as I can stomach (the thank yous get very long sometimes) and will be rooting for Kit and Maisie and company to take all the awards.

I wonder how comfortable he feels in these parties, as in these photos he looks pretty uncomfortable.

Emilia’s styling has been absolutely horrific the last year or so. That hem length is not a short woman’s friend. She looks like an end table with a pink lace cover and with a cousin Itt lamp on top. She’s such a lovely woman, but she needs to wear dresses that are either longer or shorter and her hair should be sleek, not that rumpled basset hound look.

Maisie’s dress is adorable, especially the print, but that neck line is just…No. “Hi, here’s my sternum, nice to meet you” is not a good look. Hair and makeup are flawless.

Love Hannah Murray’s pantsuit. Totally stands out in a crowd, but wish she’d gone for a messy pony tail.

Plugging for all the GoT nominees and wish all five actors could win. Just hope they won’t totally cancel each other out. Though reluctant to comment on fashion etc., I agree with most of you: Maisie looked stunning and Emilia, whom I admire as well, looked, well, almost dowdy. Surely that will change tonight.

The Drama awards are the last of the show, so we’ll have to wait a while for the winners.

I love the way Maisie dresses. Always so age appropriate and fun.

I hate the way some people seem to feel the need to say things like “Well, she’s not the prettiest but she somehow manages to de-trollify for these events and look shockingly presentable.” The girl is a beauty, amongst other more wonderful qualities like kind to her fans, politically and socially active, a fantastic actress. Can we please stop making derogatory comments about her looks, or comparing her to Sophie, who was lucky enough to be born looking like a supermodel? She’s still a teenager, for crying out loud.

Sorry for the rant but I saw her picture and thought she looked wonderful and then saw some backhanded compliment about her looks and got annoyed. Carry on.

I’m not apart of goldderby, but I do check on the forums a lot to pass the time. We can always hope for a upset when it comes to Best writing, but yea the award will either go to Mr Robot, and if not Gane of Thrones/the Americans will get it. But Directing should be ours hands down, i’m a little worried that this is downtown Abby last season, they might give it an award, something like supporting actress lol so yea I agree with you.

Mr. Robot has a 40/1 shot of winning. That’s ranked 3rd out of the nominees. The Americans has the best shot with 7/2 odds. That places it in second. GoT is first with 2/5 odds.

Well if The Americans has the second best odds than game of thrones is going to win.I adore the show and would deserve it but since it’s a popularity vote no way enough Academy people watch the Americans.On the other hand everybody watches GoT.

The Academy love giving awards to people in their last year. Especially someone with the pedigree of Dame Maggie Smith. This would also give her another Triple Crown win.

I’ve been thinking the same but the rules have changed now.All 22k voters pick just one and don’t rank them anymore.So there may be vote splitting between GoT voters
