Ed had just become a State Alchemist. mustang led the 12-year-old boy to a large room. Ed peered into the glass. There was a 9-year-old girl in the room. She was scowling at the chimera across the room. She grabbed a couteau and cut part of her collier bone. The chimera growled and ran at her. The chimera leaped and she ducked and the chimera leaped over her. She clapped her hands and held them together. Sparks flew from her hand and she narrowed her eyes. Mason heard a loud crash, and realized that the door had been thrown open. He quickly turned to the lit candles, and blew them out. He then turned to Charlotte, and grabbed her par the shoulders.

"Go to northern Amestris. As soon as toi traverser, croix the border and head into snow, go west until toi run into a small cottage. The old man and lady there know me. hey'll help you." charlotte furrowed her brow, and placed a finger on his head.

It was morning and the bright sun nearly blinded me. I grunted as I sat up and stretched, before standing up. "I should go to the library..." I started walking, pulling my manteau tighter. I heard metal clanking and identified them as the hollow suit of armor's before I even turned in that direction. I frowned. "Have toi been following me, Alphonse? Edward?"
