If there was actually a way to change the header on our profile it'd be better and if the motto was somewhere else than on top of our things, written in white! We can't even see it!.... I hope they fix that soon!

That and like half of the icons are circular and half of them are square so I dunno if I should make my icons look good as square icons or circular icons.

For those that think Im complaining, Im just making a list of issues that Ill probably consolidate later as I think the Fanpop people will be looking at this thing. XD Some nice recommendations and bugs.

I actually like it- especially the new font. The random prairie dogs are...well, random- but I'm pretty sure they'll eventually put an option where we can change that to an image of our choosing. I can't imagine that the F4 just love prairie dogs so much they feel the need to force them down our throat every time we view our profile page!

I really dislike the new super skinny font, because it's difficult to read. If it were up to me, I'd integrate a little more color (white background and light grey boxes don't make for much contrast) and make the profile banner a lot smaller. (And customizable, which I'm sure we'll be able to do soon anyway. Be gone, rodents.)

I think the header is actually a good idea, I just hope they give us an option to change it and soon please! The new font doesn't bother me, but I hate all this white everywhere!

I like the idea of gold though.

Seriously, thank you, Fanfly. Haters, fret not, we're not planning on making you stare at prairie dogs for the rest of eternity. Imagine the possibilities! As for the people with super long mottos, we're working on it and it should be fixed in the next few minutes. Thanks for catching that.

As for the abundance of white and lack of color ... imagine the possibilities :) (skins and bg colors.)

I don't like it, really. I don't like the skinny font, I liked it back when it was blue, now it's just too much white and anorexic font.

I really like it. Everything looks neater, and the differences are subtle enough, that I'll forget it changed within a wek at most. The profile banners and gold idea is brilliant too.

Plus is it me or has the site been running a lot faster? Overall I think it's a pretty good revamp of the site.

The site is running a lot faster, like Aang_lite said, so that is a plus. I'm not sure about how I feel about "everything" being a earn gold points to be able to "participate" in polls and whatnot. I know, I know. It's supposed to stop the massive poll rigging, and the spamming, and the goodness knows what else... But for those who have not yet earned ANY medals...this puts them at a disadvantage, I think, to be able to participate like they want to, free of *cough, cough* charge. Sure, it discourages the nasties, but it also is harder on some already dedicated fans. Given from what I've read of "the terms," I'm definitely rather ambivalent.

It needs a lot of tweaking.
Change is fine, but lets take some features one step at a time... instead of having the whole cake.

- font is bad. Too narrow, difficult to read.
- I like that banner idea on the profile if it means we can customise it.
- I dislike the white on more white for all the pages. i wouldn't want customised skins or whatever for club pages. It should be kept clean with a consistent colour scheme. The profiles however, customisation is always welcome.
- I don't like that suddenly medals is the most important thing to be read on the profile page. I don't know if my eyes deceive me, but it appears even bigger than the username lmao...
- The purple is...eh.

My main issue is that skinny font. It's pretty bad.

Ok now I've changed my tune a bit but it will take some getting used to. One thing though, why must the medal count be so prominent on the page, do I really need everyone who goes on my page to see I have no medals? Seriously? Lol, it's making me feel bad.I didn't need that big constant reminder every time I check my profile. Anyway, gold sounds interesting (not lying, I'm already turning greedy for gold) and customization is nice but I'm on the fence about the new font, I sort of like it but it is a little harder to read than the previous one. Well, change can be good.

The fonts seem a bit narrow and the prairie dogs..customization is okay but I didn't really mind not being able to do so also the name and motto seem a bit small bottom line for me I think for me this is going to take some getting used to.

I like the color, but I always hate it when a site moves to 'flat design'. I hope everything else doesn't turn flat.
And yeah that header, where is the option to change it? It looks like a default header that anyone can change on their own profile.

For it's current design (some of it as flat), it's not so bad personally.

The new font is honestly straining my eyes. Other than that, it's not *that* bad. Just thought the previous one worked just fine, at least to me.

The biggest bothersome is the difficulty to read the new font. The fans and props has moved now so it's rather hard to read them now too. The purple colour on the header is too dark. Almost like black sometimes.

However, adding the profile banner is interesting and I love how the black shadow below clubs' banners has been removed.

I'm aware of my unoriginal opinion in that I don't like the new font. It seems to be difficult for a lot of us to read, let alone how difficult it would be for someone with reading difficulties or sight problems. So I definitely hope this will be changed in the not-too-distant future!

Also (and I don't completely get this) I'm experiencing some sort of motion sickness when I look at my clubs in the form of a list (rather than mosaic). So I'm gonna go out on a limb and blame the new font for that. I dunno, it's just making me physically dizzy.

I kinda like the dark blue-indigo colour theme going on. I liked the old lighter blue too, but I appreciate that this site now looks more individual and less like Facebook, so that's cool.

Caught a little off guard with the information about props, caps, and fans gone from the top header. Now it only says medals. That said, not sure whether this change is necessarily a bad thing. Plus, I love that the "medals" number links to all your clubs sorted by medal. Did it do that before? I don't remember it doing that before. Whatever, it does it now and I like it. :)

The image galleries are looking very smart! I love the rounded corners on thumbnails, and the faint drop shadows. Well done!

Not a huge fan of the light grey headers all over the place. Like others have said, could use more colour. But I won't argue against this too much yet because it sounds like the staff are up to something (to do with this "gold" thing) so I'll see where they're going with it.

Also, I personally like that my username, motto, and medal count all fit neatly onto one line (along with other people who are fortunate enough to fit all their info onto one line like this). But for people with longer mottos, theirs look a bit squished somehow. I can live with it, but I think this change will prompt me to make sure I always try to keep my mottos short enough to fit on one line.

Looking forward to changing the image banners too - which I'm hoping we will be able to someday! I like that they are there and I think it will be nice for everyone to make their pages a little more personal.

So I guess that's my feedback for now. "Insecure" is my best option to go with in this poll (which is great btw), as I have a few concerns here and there, but overall not got too much of an issue with it.

but I won't rush into drawing any conclusions yet, I'll just wait and see how it all works out ;)

I can't read the new font they use, there is just sinply too much white and light grey for me and there is a wierd concert photo that supposed to be the banner of my profile and I can't remove it.

I do like the new profile layout but I'll like it more if the "fans and props" were enhanced just to not decrease their importance on our profiles in comparison with medals. And just a little more definition on the headers, same for club headers, that's all.

If something is broken, like the long mottos, we'll try our best to fix it as quickly as possible. If something is difficult to use, or counter-intuitive, we want to know. If it's a matter of taste, let us know, and we'll listen, but it's pretty safe to say we can't please everyone, and if we tried to, we'd please no one.

It's pretty clear there are some people who love the font, and some who don't.

For those of you saying you actually *can't read* the new font, can you post a few screenshot images in the image gallery of what you're seeing, and in the description say what browser and OS you are using? Style is one thing, illegibility is another.

@glelsey - When we had the blue headers on our profiles (yesterday), you could click the medal box and get taken to your clubs sorted by rank, but you had to click in juuust the right place. Glad this one's less picky about where you click!

I have to change my answer. The more I look at it (and after reading the reasoning behind it) I'm actually more neutral on it. I still miss the blue very much, but this new update doesn't bug me as much as some of the other changes had.

The new font would be okay, but it looks terrible on the wall. Icons looks nice, better than before. But I don't like how club's headers looks now - you know, the one under icon and banner, it just looks ugly.

It feels cleaner to me and I appreciate that, I don't know why there are complaints about the font, if it's too small couldn't you just zoom the screen in or increase your browser's font size? My later father used to do that.
The only thing that bugs me about it is not being able to upload a custom header banner and I'm still holding out for an option to change my username. I know I shouldn't, but this name annoys me so much...and no I'm not making a new account, I'm too built up on this one and have bottlecaps on here that aren't obtainable again.

I love it.

I don't really mind one way or the other, it's their layout. So I think it's fine.
