I don't see the point, as Claire said it just adds to your updates. Anyway you can respond to any user thru your PM.

Not everyone adds stuff to their updates, so when you respond to someone's comment, there's no guarantee that they'll see it. When you PM someone, it's not related to anything- you have to explain what your responding to, whereas if you can respond directly to someone's comment on a pick or whatever, they know exactly what you're talking about. Just like on DeviantArt.

no fanpop has it's own feature (the add updates feature)

plus i think on youtube where they have that it's confusing

if you want to reply to someone you can always just write

fanfly- i don't really mind but i would rather just have the add to updates button because it's simpler
also you can't ignore something directly said to you if the person wants to

i'm still very torn... it is a bit copy cat youtube ...and i said no... coz that could get very messy on the comments.... but i know i don't go looking back at every comment i make n i would like to know, if people agrred or thought about something i wrote... i dunno lol... i suppose if you really want to talk to the person ... send em a message

really just hit the update button it takes less than a second before you comment, and if you don't want to get updates anymore just go back and hit it again and presto it is now removed...:)
