I've been a member of fanpop for a little under a an and have been enjoying the site immensely. I glanced at my spots, er, clubs, and saw one outlined in green. What the heck? Then I saw the dot. Oh my! Could it be? Sure enough, below "my spots" was the icon: Dedicated Fan.

I am shocked and oh so excited. I've created a few spots, and added quite a bit to several, but these spots aren't that popular. That fact is fine par me, but I doubted I'd ever get to be a Dedicated fan (a secret desire of all Fanpoppers, I'm sure). Although I check the site daily, I don't have time to add much content (I haven't even figured out how to mettre en ligne plus that one picture at a time), and when I do, it's usually to a spot that doesn't get a lot of action. I'm so pleased that enough people have discovered, and hopefully enjoyed, the content I have provided.

Thank toi all for allowing me to become a Dedicated Fan...next stop-Die-Hard Fan!

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one étoile, star CONSTANTLY. People have complained in forums on plus than one occasion, no fan would rate something one étoile, star if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One arbre colline spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one étoile, star and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Can toi please comment!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various liens to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, ou their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, ou even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

The way I see it, its like breaking into your...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where toi were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. I am, of course, talking about unity. No, not unity against a 'common enemy' ou a 'troll' as many people on the internet assume is unity, but genuine "I can just click something to make someone feel a little better" kind of unity.

You see true believer, I have a faith in one thing, 'The small things count'. Whether it's just a passing 'hello',...

 Yep, they do!
Yep, they do!
As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick ou writes a commentaire it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean commentaires about how either their question is stupid ou even how stupid the person is for making a pick. The reason we rejoindre spots and make picks is because...

I have been waiting all jour to find out the results of the Fanpoppies. I was refreshing every 10 minutes just to see if the results had been posted. After awhile I decided to go out to lunch with some Friends (sushi yum). Little did I know that at accueil a great horror awaited me. fanpop was dead!
First there was anger and then tears. I had no idea what to do. The horrible truth...
