Why do people give toi hommages just to leave a message and it has nothing to do with what they gave toi hommages for?

For example: girl123(fake name) gave me hommages for my videos-"thanks for adding me!"

that totally wasnt me btw...*looks at username* i supprimer hommages like that. *votes for cinders answer*
