Is my nom d’utilisateur acceptable for Fanpop? Do I have to change it? Is there something about fanpop I don't know yet?

There's this girl toi appear to know about who is extremely populaire on the aléatoire spot. She has OCD and for her, everything needs to be symmetrical. So she HATES the number 7, like with a passion, and so do a bunch of other people who are fans of this animé called Soul Eater, which has a character similar to her. Your nom d’utilisateur is definitely gonna cause a few problems, but honestly, some people are overreacting. Still, it's not a very good name for this place.
And people are calling toi a troll because the user I mentioned, there have been people on here with usernames similar to yours who have come to troll her, make fun of her, target her, etc. It's just a natural instinct for people on the aléatoire spot now.
But yeah, people are definitely overreacting over this. Don't listen to them. :/

It's a complicated dilemma because a lot of people there are very stubborn and rabid when it comes to supporting their "popular" friends.

The best thing toi could do is either (most ideally) develop a really tough skin and not let them push toi around, ou just leave that spot and hope toi don't encounter them anywhere else.

It is completely wrong because it looks like toi haven't done anything to provoke them. I can understand the one person being upset, but no one else has an excuse, they're just being snobby.

There's no way ou need to change your username. Just live your life what the nom d’utilisateur toi came with.

No, they're just people who are jealous that toi can even look at the number seven positively.

so sorry people are treating toi mean already, and also welcome to fanpop! I'm not apart of the aléatoire spot yet but I'm joining now so that I can talk some sense into those people! If I were toi I would stand up for myself, but ignore the fact that they don't like your nom d’utilisateur because if toi like it then toi like it and don't change your nom d’utilisateur which I don't think toi can but even if toi could change it don't because that will just montrer them that they won!

You're fine. There have been people that created usernames like that on purpose just to freak her out. People on aléatoire are harsh. Don't let them get to you. As long as toi don't say anything bad about her, there shouldn't be a problem.

Unfortunately, toi can't change your name. But, like I said, they just thought toi were a troll because there have been multiple trolls that basically come on here and rub it in her face. If toi need plus advice, ou want plus details, toi can message me & I'll try to be as helpful as I can.

Eh don't worry about that. toi can get as simple and creative with your username, but don't let people chienne at toi for your username.

They're just being mean - if toi don't act like a troll then you're not one. That's what it's about.
Also, the aléatoire spot is one that a lot of people stay away from because it's just so infiltrated with annoying people who like to argue and stuff.
I'm not a member of that spot anymore because it just got on my nerves.

Eh, I wouldn't worry. People like that are total trolls. 8theGreat does have OCD, though, and it's a medical condition. She's obsessed with symmetry, much like Death the Kid from the animé Soul Eater, and to her and most Death the Kid fans, 7 is an imperfect number. I usually just joke around, but I'm a member of the SymmaSoviets. Eeyup.
But people have kind of become accustomed to hating the number seven. It's nothing personal. toi don't have to change your name. Just keep letting people know this type of thing. Try saying that toi respect Everyone's opinions, but seven is your lucky number. It's as simple as that. People will eventually forget about it and déplacer on, and we can all live in peace. Plus, toi get to keep both your account and username! :D

8thegreat, ou as I know her "Rave Buddy God", is extremely sensitive to the number 7. She has OCD, so she's extremely sensitive to the number 7. She's also an avid Soul Eater fan, along with Death the Kid's wife (As I see her), so of course she would be agitated at your username. Seeing as how no one else is talking about this incident I'm about to mention, I might as well tell you...

A long time ago, before toi even found this website, there was this user who kept coming back to harass Rave Buddy God, otherwise known as a "troll". There was one thing consistent with this troll though: it always kept the words "chip" and "hip" in its nom d’utilisateur and there was always a 5 ou 7 in it. This user kept harassing and bullying Rave Buddy God, and it got most people on the aléatoire spot rather annoyed.

Now, I've also picked out on people who have had a similar name to you. They also turned out to be innocent, and here I had wrongly accused them. I only accused them though because I was truly afraid of what 8thegreat would think. I don't want her to feel horrible ou anything; I guess I can be overprotective at times...along with others...I just want Rave Buddy God to be happy, and not misled.

I'm sorry toi had to go through that. Like others have a dit 8theGreat is OCD and she hates 7 and is extremely obsessed with symmetry. That is why she flipped out on toi before. Please don't take it personally. I'm a fan of the character that 8theGreat is supposedly personality wise very similar to. And that is Death the Kid. Alot of Death the Kid fans hate the number 7 and 5 and get on other people's cases if they don't comply with symmetry. Your nom d’utilisateur will cause problems because of this scenario but it's best to ignore it if toi can. But since toi are relatively new. I would suggest toi change your username. toi don't have to but I would suggest that to avoid future problems but that's how I would do things. I'm a HUGE Death the kid fan but I don't do that. Alot of people are overreacting over this and they shouldn't be. It's the case of extremely obsessed fangirls. When toi have extremely obsessed fangirls unfortunately problems like this will occur. Again I am sorry toi had to go through that.

I totally agree with what everyone has said, as toi will come across some rude people on here, and just try and ignore them...
