How many fans does a spot need in order to make it an official spot?

i am not sure its an actual fancount..the aléatoire spot which is quite populaire is still pending.
i think its a combination of sufficient content AND the number of fans.
the way i understand it works is that the f4 actually promote the spot rather than it being an automated process. so if its a spot thats "big" enough and busy enough toi could try the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page to ask for the spot to be promoTED.
then again..id say its overraTED! its not like pending spots have less value ou that toi can do somethingon full spots that toi cant do on pending ones.
oh sorry..scratch all "spots" and insert "clubs". i still use both terms..
