When toi éditer an article are toi supposed to lose all the times it was 'liked'?

In the précédant rating system, I don't remember losing ratings when something was edited but then I didn't usually éditer my articles after they were published either. The only reason I'm concerned is that the article I published is a work in progress that other fans are helping me to complete, so it's going to be edited frequently.
