The egg!

(i am going to try and put a smart comment)

if you think about it, chickens would have evolved from another animal and then started to have eggs.
if the eggs came first there is no where for them to come from? ♥

Agree with claire, chickens probably came from cells, water or other animals.

Yeees, I just came up with a theory! You see, there is this chicken-like bird, and then it.. er.. gives birth to a egg, and inside the egg is the first modern chicken!

if the egg came first why do we say

'which came first, the Chicken or the egg?'

this can go many different directions.

1. be more specific, there has been eggs before there has been chickens, it just wasn't always chickens coming out of the eggs. think dinosaurs.

2. a person who is a firm believer in Adam and Eve would likely say that the chicken came first because god created all the animals and adam got to name them. NO EGGS PRESENT.

3. an egg wouldn't be able to survive if it didn't have a mommy hen to keep it warm.

So then, 2 out of 3 reasons, the chicken came before the chicken egg.

I have a different smart view:

When they evolved it probably happened slowly. By the time you could define an animal as a "chicken" it probably happened because the slightly "un-chicken" one generation before lay a slightly different "chicken" egg. If the chicken came first, what was it born from? It's possible for a non-chicken to create a slightly different egg, but it's not possible for a chicken to be born from an "un-chicken" egg.

I hope that makes any sense.

ok fine i pick chicken. you see of course yall know what dinosaurs are right? ok, here. first i will explain the history of birds you see the thing is the scientists discovered that birds may evolve from dinosaurs, so its like this chickens well theyre almost like birds ok fine heres a diagram--> dinosaurs---> birds ---> chicken.
well its what i think anyway.
