Dodge Landon is a character in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the secondary antagonist. He is the son of John Landon, owner of the San Bruno Primate Facility, where Caesar is incarcerated following his attack on Hunsiker. He works as a guard at the facility under his father, but he administers horrible treatment and cruelty to the Primates at the facility, that borderlines on torture. Dodge evetually brings some Friends par the Primate facility to montrer off his power over the Apes when one carelessly gets too close to Caesar's cage and is grabbed, and relieved of his pocket couteau unkown to any of the humans present. Caesar later escapes the facility, using the couteau he lifted earlier, after which he steals the ALZ-113 virus from Will Rodman's house, and then proceeds to infect the other apes at the facility. After Dodge catches Caesar out of his cage he attempts to attack him with his stun baton but is quickly subdued par an angry Caesar. After Caesar rescues the other Apes from their cages Dodge wakes up and once again attempts to attack. Caesar defends himself par spraying Dodge with a feu hose (the same hose Dodge himself used to torture Caesar earlier), the water from the hose makes contact with Dodge's stun baton just as he is going to strike, which electrocutes Dodge and kills him instantly
