I fucking love Matt but I know I'll fall in love with the next guy (or gal?? hahah) too. When David Tennant left I was PO'd for a while, but as soon as Matt was introduced I was okay. I'll still miss Matt though, like I still rewatch series 2 every now and then for David, but the next dude'll rock too I'm sure. ^_^

He's not my favorite Doctor (tenth :), but I did like him and it'll be sad to see him go.

well i'm going to stop watching it for a very long time might even stop watching DW, because it's HARD enough when chris left and we got left with david (who really did not live up to chris not ever) but then came matt who did live up to chris and introduced his own print in DW which i completly FELL IN LOVE with just like i FELL IN LOVE with chris, it's so unfair that matt and chris the best two of the new doctors got less episodes than david the worst one of the new doctors

Matt's been great, but the eleventh doctor has run his course.

I got used to him, I did. Especially in S7, maybe becasue of nice balance between Jenna & Matt. But it doesn't mean I wasn't waiting for this news. I reallt hope the next Doctor will be older (well, if they'd pick a younger one he'd wear a diper, so it's probably not possible), with more distance, calmer, wiser, acting like this 900 years old who lost basically everyone in his life, who he really is. I'm really excited to see the next Doctor.

I'm gonna cry my eyes out when he leaves. I love Matt so much, he's my Doctor and he holds a special place in my heart. I started watching Doctor Who with him, so he's the Doctor I first fell for. And after seeing some of the other Doctor, I can definietly say he's the best of them. He put so much power into his character, he brought the Doctor to so much more life and depth. The way he plays him, is amazing. And I don't think anyone can live up to Matt's Doctor. And think of what he had to live up to, he started after a very populer Doctor and was the 11th of many others. Yet, he did such an amazing job. Even with me just started watching it, he had me crying. He got me into that character and series in just a matter of episodes, that he was able to get me crying. I love Matt, I love 11, and I love Doctor Who. Goodbye Matt Smith, we love you Raggedy Man.

I actually cried when i found out- I love him as the doctor so much :(

Matt was a really good Doctor and I love him and will be sad to see him go but I think it's time for a new Doctor as well, we've had the 11th Doctor for a long time now, so it's time for a new one, it's sad to say that and I will really miss Matt but I'm ready for a new Doctor. I will probably still cry when Matt leaves because he was a great Doctor but I will be excited to see the new Doctor.
