There was supposed to be a " The Little Mermaid" on Broadway National tour in 2010 and Disney theatrical President practically spelled it out that it would happen- and it didnt. I was about to go and see it in 2009, and the reason the closed it was to also put it on tour- which makes no sense, cause they didnt do it.
This is when I think Walt Disney would be very upset - money versus making people happy, or actually just keeping your word.

I also thought all of the classic movies were going to be in 3D like beauty and the beast and Aladdin but that never happened either!
