Through a textual prologue told via a storybook, the audience is told that Snow White is a princess living with her stepmother, a vain and wicked Queen who is assumed to have taken over the kingdom after the death of Snow White's father. Fearing Snow White's beauty surpassing her own, the Queen forced her to work as a scullery maid and asked her Magic Mirror daily "who is the fairest one of all". For many years the mirror always answered that the Queen was, pleasing her.

At the film's opening, the Magic Mirror informs the Queen that Snow White is now the fairest in the land. The jealous Queen...

Lady and the Tramp is a well known Disney Classic that has been referenced and parodied for several years in different films and shows. When Disney announced that there was going to be a remake for this classic there were some mixed reactions but of course a lot of fans weren’t too excited. When the trailer came out some opinions were changed, including mine. After I found out that real chiens were used for this movie instead of just cgi like The Lion King I will admit that it did grab my attention, especially after I found out all the chiens were rescue dogs. After Disney+ launched my husband...

Frollo, my favourite Tony Jay villain
In 1938, Tony Jay's parents treated him to a matinee of Walt Disney's first animated feature, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, on London's West End. Like any other 5-year-old confronted par the cackling wicked witch, he had nightmares for years afterward.

Almost six decades later, the veteran English actor has recovered sufficiently to play a Disney villain with enough suave menace to send that witch packing on her broomstick. par giving voice to Frollo, the tormented magistrate of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, geai, jay does plus than add a portrait to the rogues' gallery that stretches from Snow White's...

The true worst sequel i don't like is Return to Neverland. During the Londres Blitz of World War II in 1942, Peter Pan's former playmate, Wendy Darling, has grown up and married, and has two children of her own — an 12-year-old daughter, Jane, and a 4-year-old son, Danny. Her husband, Edward, is sent to fight in the war, leaving her to raise the children par herself. She tries to keep their spirits up with stories of Peter Pan, but Jane has become cynical under the pressures of the war, belittling the stories her mother tells and unintentionally ridiculing her brother's faith in them.

Hi guys, since I had done for Charles Dicken's story suggestions. So, now let's focus on musicals, shall we?

1) Miss Saigon

It's about a young Vietnamese girl who falls in l’amour with an American G.I., only to go back to the US where he is already married to a young American girl, heartbroken, the Vietnamese girl committed suicide while her young son is taken in par his new American parents.

Aladdin-PEDDLER: Oh I come from a land
From a faraway place
Where the caravan camels roam
Where they cut off your ear /Where it's flat and immense
If they don't like your face /And the heat is intense
It's barbaric, but hey--it's home!
When the wind's at your back
And the sun's from the west
And the sand in the glass is right
Come on down,
Stop on by
Hop a carpet and fly
To another Arabian night!

Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
plus often than not
Are hotter than hot
In a lot of good ways

Arabian nights
'Neath Arabian moons
A fool off his guard
Could fall and fall hard
Out there on the dunes....

This is the start of a new series of articles, in which I’ll take a look at book-based Disney movies. I will discuss how the movie relates to the original source text (or not), what the merits and the weaknesses of the movie are.
I will not do this in chronological order, but simply pick what strikes me fancy (I’m open for requests, though). Don’t expect me to do the Lion King, though. For one, the connection to Hamlet is feeble at best, it’s plus a case of being inspired par it than a true adaptation, and two, technically Hamlet is a play, not a book. I also will not do the Disney Princess...
