It's so boring! The only song I actually care for is Heigh-Ho.

@KataraLover, Heigh Ho was the only song from the movie I remembered from my childhood

It's all kind of the same thing over and over again. The Soundtrack part is bad and boring and the singing parts put me to sleep (Not Part of Your World Reprise those, favorite song on the whole thing)

@KataraLover- I wouldn't say it's BORING. They're all enjoyable, but I just can't find the word.

Meh. They lost all the magic in the soundtrack when they put in the word 'like'. Are you kidding me? Making little girls into even BIGGER teenyboppers is not bringin' in the magic, Disney. Plus even though I love the song ' When Will My Life Begin?", and it was a little deal of a step for Disney, I don't think the soundtrack is good to live up to the others. Most of the songs are calm, and only a few are ones that make you want to dance.

The only songs I really really like from this movie are One Song and the Yodel Song.

hajirah4- Yay someone else who get so annoyed by the word "like" in that movie! And it would have been such a meaningful moment otherwise! Plus, I'm just not a fan of this style of music.

Or Tangled. PatF has some amazing songs with a lot of bad ones, while all of the Tangled songs are the same level of medium good. Plus the lyrics in Tangled are meaningful and say something, while the songs in PatF are just stating either the obvious or what has been said already.

It's the only DP movie where I can't remember any of the songs. They just aren't memorable for me. Bleh.

I don't know why people are so upset about the word "like" being in Tangled. Can someone explain it to me please?

I loved One Song, liked Someday My Prince Will Come and Heigh Ho and liked the SCENES from the other songs. Didn't really care that much for the music. But it is enjoyable, just not as much as the others.

How is Snow White's soundtrack worse than Tangled's, really? I agree completely with hajirah4.

The songs of PatF are just unmemorable and boring as hell. But even worse is the score. While Snow White also has a lot of songs which meaningless lyrics (a song about cleaning? And another ones about washing? Really?????) it also has some really great pieces, like the simpy but beautiful "One Song" and especially the organ piece when Snow White dies. PatF doesn't even have that.

Tangled has one or two weaker songs, but a really, really great score. And it's overall sondtrack might not be able to rival the one of "Beauty and the Beast" for example, but it's certainly better than the one of Aladdin, which has "A whole new world" but also a lot of weaker songs and a weaker score.

Even though the scores are even with Snow White and PATF, the songs are very bland and unmemorable. The only one I liked was Mother Knows Best. I did not feel anything when I was listening to I See The Light, or When Will My Life Begin, and I felt emotions and enjoyment when listening to the music in PATF and Snow White. I already know a lof people disagree with me about the music in Tangled, but the songs did not catch me at all. The score was much better though, but all of the DP movies have fantastic scores, so this one I'd definitely the weakest soundtrack.

I like the Jazz-vibe but I just prefer the others.
Snow White's soundtrack for me is perfection. I just adore the songs and the score, especially the one at the end of the movie, it moves me to tears.

@JaydenG- I hear people in our class saying 'like' forever, when they could say 'about', 'almost' or basically. It's annoying, and it's unecessary to put that in the script. If it were Walt he'd ask 'Not to be a nitpick but... why did you put the word 'like' in here- from out of the ordinary?" , and they'd say "Well, we needed an extra syllable...'' , and he's come back with ''So... there's nothing else- OKAY! It's good anyways. Good job.''

They needed an extra syllable. Ideas? Yes. 'Sweep again, and by then it's 'bout 7:15' , 'Sweep again, and by then, it's, what? 7:15?' putting in 'like' is unecessary. Allen Menken saw Ariel being a more ... less peppy fangirl- but he could come up with lots of words with one syllable, and NOT put in like for her songs.
