BELLE BECAUSE SHE READS!!!!!!!

I used to think Jasmine but, she lets herself be lied to by Aladdin over and over again, so you know, I think Mulan.

Belle sure reads a lot of books, but I don't think she's very interested in Dictionaries. And I don't believe they had the best history books either. Belle might've read SOME historicle things, but I believe she reads more of fairytales and things like that. She might be vocabulary smart, but not so very intellegent. (not implying shes dumb)

She's not part of the princess lineup, but she's a great choice; the girl is darned smart in several ways.

Belle would certainly be up there, and not just because "she reads" (and yes, there is definitely a correlation between being a good reader and being intelligent.) She may not know everything or be a complete genius, but she's smart as well.

Pocahontas, Jasmine, Megara, Tiana, and Kida would be my next picks...then Ariel (sometimes impulsive and doesn't always make the wisest choices, but I believe she's very smart; there's also a certain relationship between inquisitiveness/curiosity and intelligence--this girl WANTS TO LEARN!) Rapunzel (who must know quite a bit and be rather skilled just from her constant studies and artistry and and reading, despite never having ventured out of her tower before the film's events), Cinderella, Aurora, & Snow White would round out my list.

Also a difficult question, as there are numerous types of intelligence, and given their time periods, locations, and situations, it's not necessarily the fault of a princess if she seems less brainy than she could otherwise have been...she may not have had the opportunity to exercise it and reach her full potential...

That's why she's my Princess!

And Mulan.

Belle reads storybooks... Not saying she's dumb, but everyone seems to think she's super-intelligent b/c she reads. Storybooks. lol Mulan is definitely quick-thinking and on her toes. Very smart =)
