I remembered when it ended, I was like...that's it? But I also thought...you know the part where she's running up the cliff to watch the ship leave? I always thought she was going to dive after the ship and get on it, and THEN the movie was going to end.

I don't actually remember the first time I watched Pocahontas- I only remember that, because I was so little, I got scared and didn't like it when Kocoum got shot in the soul. But by the time I consciously watched it, I think I sort of knew what Poca was going to choose when John asked "Come with me?".

I dont know, I must of been 4 or 5 when I first watched but I probably wasn't suprised bc I must not of cared that much. At that young age I just cared about the jokes!

I was about 10 when this movie came out, and yeah I was a bit shocked...all of the other Princess movies ended with a "happily ever after", but this one didn't...but then I found it to be a bit refreshing and realistic.
