The American school system actually makes no sense in the slightest.
I'm in year 10, I finish school early next May for study leave before my GCSEs which are the big exams you take at the end of compulsory education. I'll be in year 11 and we'll be the class of '11. That really entertains my class because we're immature. I think we finish school earlier here than you do in the US. I turn 16 in October so I'll be 16 when I leave school. But I know tons of people that will only be 15 when they leave school. One girl I know isn't even 15 until August, so she'll be 15 when she gets her GCSE results which is lol.

Actually, these are my top 3 singers! Ha. I am a HUGE Lea Salonga fan! Her work in Miss. Saigon is stunning!

No mater how much we learned about British and USA education on English class, i will never remember it. These are my top 3 too

Yes, Straggy, we Americans finish a bit later. We have 12 grades. For me, I started kindergarten at age 5. Then from ages 6-17, I was in 1st grade-12th grade. So I finished high school at age 17 at the end of spring, and by the time I turned 18 in the summer, it was time to go to college the following fall semester.
