Rofl. It's probably because I never shorten it to "bi" irl. The only bisexual guy I know is uptight and posh that you get used to saying the full thing to describe him. Plus, bisexual sounds better next to articulate than bi does.
I also like to assume that the workings of my brain are hidden on this site somewhere and people automatically understand my ramblings.
