Better to have a good actress with not a great singing voice, then have an actress who's bad at acting and has a good singing voice.

by far. If she's a bad actress I don't even care about her singing voice. That's why I don't like a lot of disney channel stars- They're terrible actresses/actors but only seem to get the job because of singing "talent", per se.

I know I hate the Disney channel now days. I miss the old days when shows like " Boy Meets World" was on there. It would help if she could sing, but if she is a bad actress well it would snowball from there.

I honestly believe having a good actress is far more important then having someone with a great singing voice I mean they can always go back and clean up the voice in the studio.
But to be able to project the right feelings on the screen for each princess would be a very hard task.
Also i dont think any modern celebrity could do the job for some reason i feel like if they ever made these they would get unknowns.

They can dub in a better voice, but you can't edit out bad acting.

It'll be like Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, they not being professional singers. Or they could do as Asvini said.

And the singing voice.

I agree with Asvini, she could always be dubbed if her voice is not up to par. If I feel like someone is a bad actor/actress, then I can't even get into the storyline.

Take Enchanted for example Amy Adams isn't a singer but she played her charcther very good as if she was a cartoon princess dealing with our world(well she was voicing one)but the way she was moving and acting like a princess was very well done,so i'll choose both singing and acting.
