I think it's a tie between Belle and Jasmine. Honestly, I love them both and I think they're both pretty smart.

I actually do think Mulan is the most smart. Her quick thinking nature and calculated way of thinking gives me the impression that she is really smart.

Like near the end of the film when fighting Shan Yu she thought it all through on the spot. I would be like "Oh Fuck. Big scary guy is after me. Oh my god. Oh my god. What should I do. Why me? He's got a sword, all I've got is a fan, how is this fair?"

Basically Mulan is quick on her feet and thinks broadly, she is the smartest princess in my mind.

I also think that Belle, Tiana, Cinderella and Jasmine are also smart.

I would have to agree with Disney_Prince on his reasoning with Mulan. I think Belle is well-read and Pocahontas is the most wise but I think Mulan is really creative and thinks outside the box real quickly.

I think she thinks really quickly on her feet. And as she said herself, she's a fast learner, lol.

Mulan is really clever. Figuring out how to get to the top of the pole with those weights, anyone? For that, I pick her. Belle is probably book-smart but we don't really see her using her knowledge practically, like Mulan does.
