I thought Tiana's blue dress was too... predictable. We've seen too much blue. I think she would have sported the purple well.

This is what I always thought Flora and Merriweather should have done... compromise and make it purple. If you pause the movie when they are fighting in the cottage about it, you can see it transitioning and it is purple. I always preferred it to the other two.
