I love the original ride. This is PC nonsense. It's pretty telling that the petition to KEEP the ride has way more signatures than the one to change it.

The best thing about the ride is the SONG! Do they really want to change that catchy tune against one of PotF boring songs? Urgh!

^the saddest part is that Disney has stopped making products with Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah and they're not playing it in the parks anymore either. It's an Oscar winning song and one of their most popular.

One good thing is that because of COVID, the parks have been in dire financial situation and most future expansion plans have been delayed or cancelled. So I'm hoping this change has been delayed indefinitely.

Disney is now creating a slogan with their half-done everything! Cheapen prior movies by creating remakes that work half as well, and leave SUCH an aftertaste that is TWICE AS BAD.

Now take a ride that some people love, and some people ignore, and just--- plaster a new theme to it! Saves you the effort and mental creativity of coming up with "an exclusive Tiana ride" to support Disney's lone African American princess, but sure--- cut corners and costs, why don't ya?

I think my opinion is in agreement with the above users.

Personally I'm glad to see a PATF themed thing in parks but I'd rather have it be a restaurant based of Tiana's Palace. I kinda wish it were its own thing rather than just a rehash of an existing ride.

This is the most racist thing Disney could have done by getting rid of this ride to appeal to a minority not even asking for it. What can help the black community is giving money back to them and granting them equal opportunities to combat systematic racism. NOT retheming a beloved ride to a quasi-racist film that panders to the black community by creating a princess who is an ugly, warty frog for 80% of the film. Black people hate this film on Twitter except for the few who will accept any representation whatsoever because they are so starved. If this film had been created in Harlem, then maybe it would have been authentic.

In my country, there is not much support for black people so this is not well liked. However, my country's people mostly go to the Japan theme park which will not be changing the ride so that is good. The China parks are off limits because my country will be at war with China so we are boycotting them and their eyes.

Unlike some people I don't flip flop on hating either of these movies. That said, I understand the marketing and social move behind this but still, why didn't they just... give her a place in New Orleans Square?

SOTS is racist. Fine. But why replace it with something equally as racist. Is Disney trying to tell black folks that Jim Crow America was better than Reconstruction America? Cuz last time my black ass checked, we was just as enslaved and hated in both of those times. They think throwing a lettuce sparkly princess dress will make it less racist? Da Frog Princess be as racist as Song of the South and both need to be locked away if Disney gonna keep this up. But I want Disney to never erase them completely so everyone can remember what a racist POS corporation it is. They aint getta pretend like they was always woke and respectful of black folks when they was anyting but.

I wasn't a fan of Song of the South to begin with but I did love the animatronics and zip-a-dee-do-dah and I'd like to see what they'd do with Princess and the Frog. I'm more split down the middle with this

Disney is such a racist corporation to white people pandering to the Twitter SJW angry mob. I will not be giving them anymore of my money.
