Merida's hair attaches itself to everything. I would know, because I have Merida's hair. It's always tangling and creating knots, and it always is a royal pain to run a comb through-- period-- even after it has been dampened/ soaked with water in the shower.

I have loved Ariel's hair ever since I was 9 years old, and my mother insisted on combing my own hair. I still love Ariel's soft waves, and the fact that Ariel can play with it/run her hands through it...which you simply can't do in my case.
