Yeah, that was just a minor point to the song to find a way to connect it to what little story the movie has. In addition to what KataraLover said, Anna is in SERIOUS trouble health-wise, but the trolls decide to take this opportunity to sing about Kristoff's unlikable qualities (smelly, only urinates in the woods), but that he's a really good guy and they should get together, and that her engagement means nothing. Ugh. Not only that, but the lyric "We aren't saying you can change him/'Cause people don't really change" contradicts the whole point of the song, and is incorrect- people DO change, although it's true you can't make them. Also, unintentionally, this lyric also applies to Hans: "People make bad choices if they're mad or scared or stressed/But throw a little love their way, and you'll bring out their best/True love brings out the best".
