Sort of? I mean, they are very similar, because Ella is inspired more by the Disney version than the original fairytale, but it's not like I'd be taking any of Ella's actions into account when critiquing Cinderella or vice versa.

The circumstances are borrowed from the 1950 version, but the personalities are not exactly the same. The 2015 Ella has more of a "take charge" vibe to her, whereas the original Walt character was more demure and shy, with some dry wit thrown in.

definitely not. Ella is more passive and never seems to get frustrated, while Cinderella is more bitter and takes action when she can. Ella is an ISFJ and Cinderella is an INFJ, too.
