What a random comparison. Hans turned evil because he desires power and having 12 older brothers means he will never get the throne. Rolf is a kid who much like other young German kids, was taken up by the pageantry and rousing rhetoric of the Nazis. However, he does have a moment of doubt before eventually revealing the von Trapp's hiding space and sending the Nazis after them. Hans is just cartoonishly evil.
