Well-meaning but ultimately misguided and maybe even abusive parents? Check. A mystical troll telling you that your powers may lead to your downfall? Check. A crippling sense of isolation, fear, anxiety, and general sense that no one will accept you because of who you are? Check? Possible mental disorder? Check. Having a kingdom to run but no guidance? Check. Geeze, no wonder she freezes the kingdom.

I also agree with Diogenes, definitely Elsa, she seems to be the most aware in the movie too. It's ironic I say this considering the plot holes in other scenes when she didn't realize she froze Arendelle or Anna's heart.

Definitely. The only character I don't have sympathy for is the duke. Elsa the whole movie wants to be herself but is never given the chance. Even when she's singing let it go it almost looks like she's about to cry. Not tears of joy, but that she's going to miss her sister. I also have much sympathy for Anna but unlike Elsa her parents seemed to never give her the time of day, which could be thought of as a good thing of a bad thing.

Definitely. Elsa grew up in fear of not someone or something, but herself.

She was scared of her own powers for many years and thought she was a monster. She also had to hide her powers and she couldn't talk to her sister. The movie also made it pretty clear that her parents favored Anna over her. She had a terrible childhood.

Please don't hit me. I have grown up as the youngest of 8 (all boys) and while what Hans did wasn't right, I understand where he was coming from. I have always wanted to stand apart from my brothers, so that's what he did. And remember his brothers did pretend he was invisible for a year( that's harsh).
