Really? It doesn't seem like that...most little girls love dressing up as Cinderella, or Snow White. They're the most iconic ones. Plus, Cinderella got a HUGE castle built just for her, and her story is constantly romanticized. To me, that definitely makes it overrated. I still like Cindy though :)

Lately the Classic Era has seemed overrated though. But since the Classic Era isn't here, I'll have to go with this one. It's always winning in polls.

disneyislifeok - But they're the least popular era among the Disney fandom and Fanpop (they are all in the bottom half of the Favorite Princess countdown). And tbh, little girls want to be mermaids like Ariel just as much as they want to dress up as Cinderella.

I think the Renaissance Era is the most overrated. Not to mention the some of the biggest-earning movies are there too.
But, where's Classic? Classic is quite overrated. :/

Classic is becoming a bit overrated. Seems like the princesses are magically slipping into people's top five.

classic is becoming soooooooooooooo overrated its not even funny. i love them but everyone is makin a big deal out of them lately. modern with rapunzel and anna and merida and elsa is becoming more overrated to me. all of the era's are overrated!!!! everyone is writing articles about the classics lately and its pissin me off. i mean i like them but it pisses me off when people be makin big deals about them. i like them though.

Ariel, Belle, Mulan and Pocahontas are all very overrated on Fanpop (Yes Pocahontas is very overrated here). While for the Modern only, Anna and Elsa are, Rapunzel, Merida and Tiana still get a lot of hate from a lot of people here and outside of Fanpop. And also yes the classic era is getting to be overrated.

Elsa, Rapunzel and maybe even Anna. People seem to love most of the revivals. From the renaissance it's just Mulan and Belle whom I find overrated.
