He isn't overrated in looks, nor underrated. He looks exactly as good as people make him out to be.

Last I checked most found him ugly. I think he's moderately handsome.

I used to find him ugly, but now I do think he is as good-looking as some people say.

But definitely closer to underrated than overrated- he's nicely handsome, but not knock-your-socks-off or anything

I don't find him gorgeous or anything, but I agree with what everyone said above, closer to underrated than overrated.

Something I've noticed in recent months is that John Smith seems to receive plentiful hate in the polls but barely anyone that chooses the negative options actually comments for him. It's just weird.

Sorry about that, I'm one of the people who picked overrated and didn't comment. I definitely don't think his character is overrated, I'm not a fan of him but he does get undeserved flak. For his looks though, he's generally considered more handsome than Shang and less handsome than Phillip which is fair but I personally don't like his looks. And I get it when people say Shang is overrated so I think John can be considered overrated too.
