1) How does it feel to be fan of the month?
I don't know, happy. Many good things have happened to me lately, so I wasn't as exicted about being fan of the mois as I could have been. But I'm happy that it was Mulan month.

2) Who are your favourite princesses and why?...

Welcome. This is my Disney Princess jukebox, I have liens to all the important Princess songs, I haven't put every song from every film in here, I've tried to be slightly selective. Thats it really, have a listen to some of the musical masterpieces to come out of the Disney Princess films with ease.

New Orleans had an upbeat, fun-loving vibe to it. Although Princess pois, pea was impressed, she still preferred her old home....

How is it that my list, besides numbers 1-3, is constantly changing? I l’amour them all, just some plus than others. Yet everytime I rewatch one of their movies, it's like seeing them for the very first time. And of course I am a woman, and we are known for always changing our mind ;) Anyways, here is my updated favori Princess list.

9. Aurora
She used to be my 7th favorite, now she is 9th. It doesn't mean I l’amour her any less; it basically boils down to the fact that I just want to see plus of her. Anytime I watch Sleeping Beauty, I'm always skipping to the parts with her in it, and before I know...

Since Mulan is princess of the month, here some thoughts about which fleur fits her the best. The movie, after all, offers some choices. The most obvious one is the magnolia, since that’s the translation of the name Mulan.

Then there is the white fleur Mulan wears in her hair when she meets the matchmaker – the same fleur she leaves behind when she goes to war. I’m not sure what kind of fleur that’s suppose to be. I first considered lotus (since the lotus is such a reveled fleur in Asia and gets often connected to the gods), but a lotus has plus petals. A white cerise blossom...

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the précédant two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the suivant Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.
