"Oh. My. GOD. Where the heck are we?" I yelled at the sky. "Why do toi hate me?"
Lily rolled her eyes and looked around. "This place looks familiar..."
I pulled at my hair. "Familiar?!" I yelled at her. "I have a rapporter due in three days and if I can't finish it my life is RUINED!"
"You mean your summer," she added quietly.
"Just shut up!" I folded my arms and closed my eyes. It's just a dream, I told myself. You will open your eyes and find yourself back in your room, your beautiful room...
I opened my eyes. "Darn it," I a dit quietly. I was about to go in a full-out tantrum when we heard someone crying nearby.
"Stop crying, Lily."
"I'm not!" She pointed at a blonde girl in rose rags sobbing on a bench. "Remember her?"
I thought for bit. "Oh no...."
"Oh, YES!" Lily cheered. "I can't believe it! We've been zapped into Cinderella's world! Isn't this cool, Danny? Danny?"
I wasn't listening, for an old woman appeared right in front of me.
"Well, hello, child," she a dit sweetly.
"F-Fairy Godmother?" I stuttered.
She nodded, and pulled a white stick out of her sleeve. "Yes, I am, child, but I am afraid I have no time for introductions." she handed the stick to me. "That girl over there needs this night, and toi are to help her."
"Me? But you're the one--"
"I have to go to an important fairy spa that I cannot miss," she interrupted me. "So please, just help her. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!" and she was gone as quickly as she had come.
"Lazy old granny," I muttered. I pointed the wand at Lily and me and said, "Bibbidi Bobbidi--"
"Wait, what are toi doing?" Lily asked me.
"I'm getting us home, DUH!" I snapped.
She tried to take the wand away, but I held it in the air. "But Danny, Fairy Godmother trusted us to help Cinderella!"
I groaned. "Look, I have a rapporter to finish and--"
"Please?" she pleaded. "This would refresh your mind about the princesses!"
I sighed. "Fine. But Mom hears NOTHING."
"Agreed."
I slumped my shoulders and walked over to the sobbing girl. I tapped her shoulder awkwardly. "Um, hello?"
She looked up at me, her face a mess. "Yes?"
Lily sat on the bench. "Hi, Cinderella, I'm Lily, and this is my big sister Danielle--"
"You weren't supposed to say our names!" I yelled. Cendrillon looked at me weirdly, and I calmed down. I pulled Lily aside. "Just let me do the talking," I a dit to her.
I looked at Cendrillon and cleared my throat. "We are both fairy prodigies, which means we'll do the job tonight."
"Aren't fées supposed to have wings?" Cendrillon pointed out.
I sighed deeply. Composure, I a dit to myself in my head. "Well, only the cool fées don't have wings, and that's what we are."
She stood up. "You wear strange clothes for fairies."
I looked down. I was in my pajama shorts and monkey T-Shirt. "Well, I was in a bit of a hurry to get here. Come on, we're going to the ball." I used the wand to make a coach, horses, a rider, and a footman.
"Let's go!" I urged. Without looking, I turned her rags into the silver ballgown like in the movie. I took her hand and pulled her into the coach. "Well, bye! Have fun, dance, be happy, and good night!"
"Wait." she had a stern hold on my arm. "You were so helpful tonight, and I want toi to come with me."
Great, just great. I sighed and looked at her. "I don't think I can..."
"Oh, please!" Lily a dit as she tugged on my shirt. "I really want to go, then we could go home!"
"Not helping, Lily..." I muttered.
Lily took the wand and said, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!" and my pajamas turned into a rose ballgown. She pointed it at herself and did the same thing.
I grabbed it from her hand. "Make it blue," I said, and the robe turned into a plus modern-styled blue prom dress.
Cendrillon looked at me confusingly, but ignored it. "Hurry along, dears."
We climbed into the coach and drove to the ball.

The château was an amazing sight. I was amazed par how large it was, and wished for it to be my home.
I nudged my little sister. "First time in a castle."
Cendrillon raised an eyebrow. "Don't toi have a château in your kingdom?"
"Yes, it's called Disneyland." I got out of the coach and took Lily's hand. The three of us walked up the stairs and found our way into the ballroom.
The Prince was at the far end of the room, snubbing other girls who came to marry him.
"What a jerk," I whispered to Lily.
"Don't tell Cinderella," she replied.
Cendrillon was busy observing the structure and portraits of the ballroom, and I was waiting for the Prince to notice her already.
I tapped my foot impatiently. "Hurry up already!" I a dit under my breath.
Finally, after what seemed like forever, the Prince looked toward at us and Cendrillon and started walking to us.
"Here he comes!" Lily squealed.
He stood before me and bowed respectedly. I pointed at Cinderella. "This is Cinderella," I said, but Cindy didn't hear me.
He took my hand and kissed it. "Can I have this dance?" he asked, his brown eyes glinting in the light.
My mouth went agape. Lily bit her lip. I couldn't believe it. The Prince was falling in l’amour with me!
