*** Raiponce SPOILER ALERT***

Ok, I haven't written an article in a couple of months, so I decided I might as well write one now. And the best topic I imagined to be my favori scene is each DP movie. So enjoy :)

SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS

My favori scene is the one, where the dwarfs are rushing towards their house in order to save Snow White from the Queen, while in the same time the hag and Snow White talk about wishes and apples. I find this scene really amazing, because of all the action and all the emotions: dwarfs are scared that Snow White might be harmed, Snow White is Il était une fois par the idea that this pomme will help her live happily ever after with her prince and the Queen is barely able to hide her anticipation and cruelness.

CINDERELLA

My favori scene in Cendrillon is the one in which the glass slipper fits her. Classic scene! Good wins against evil and Cendrillon finally gets her happy ending. Also the look on lady Tremaine's face is priceless...

SLEEPING BEAUTY

In Sleeping Beauty I l’amour the scene where Phillip is in a dungeon and Maleficent comes to talk to him about his future and about Aurora. First of all Maleficent is my favori character in the movie, I find her way plus interesting than Aurora. The way she talks to Phillip in that scene is so poetic and enchanting. But in the same time perfectly cruel, because she's teasing him. She was not planning to let him out of her prison for years and years, and therefore he would never have been happy with Aurora if it wasn't for the three good fairies.

THE LITTLE MERMAID

Even though in the last couple of months I started liking Ariel less and less, still my favori scene in the movie is the "Part of Your World" bit. I don't like Ariel's personality, neither her voice, but I l’amour how graceful she is in the water and I really like the lyrics. global, ensemble the whole scene is beautifully drawn.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

God, I l’amour most scenes in this movie. But if I have to pick a favorite, it would be the Beast death and transformation scene. It is so emotional, beautiful and the score is amazing. Fantastic scene, one of my all-time favori animated scenes!

ALADDIN

My favori scene in Aladin is "A Whole New World". I l’amour the scene because from one side it is so romantic and magical, but in the same time it is fast-paced and energetic. Moreover a magic carpet ride is what I call a perfect date. My Friends used to laugh at me, because every time we talked about boys and dates I used to say I want someone hot and handsome to take me on a magic carpet ride. This was basically my dream rendez-vous amoureux, date MDR :D But anyway, the scene is gorgeous and really makes toi wish toi could fly too :)

POCAHONTAS

Even though the movie is somewhat boring, there is one scene I find amazing, and it is one of my favori animated scenes ever! And this is the Finale. The music, the sadness, the hard choice to stay ou to live, the strength to let go someone toi l’amour endlessly... This is the scene in which I absolutely adore Pocahontas and I admire her for her courage. Best Disney ending ever!

MULAN

So, I watched Mulan just recently and I discovered it is a lot better than I remembered it to be. It is funny, original, exciting and YES! GIRL POWER! But the scene I like the most is the Mulan's Decision one. She's Fa's only child, she's a woman in a time period, when any woman has hardly any rights... Yet she had the courage and selflessness to go in the army in her father's place. In this scene people can see how much her family means for her and how much she is ready to sacrifice for them. The score during this scene is also absolutely brilliant. SO EPIC!

THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG

Hmmmm, this is probably the hardest one for me, just because none of the scenes in the movie impressed me much. I was actually quite bored while I was watching it. I guess I'll go with charlotte and fake Naveen's scene in the garden. I really like charlotte (she's the only thing I like about the movie) and her flirting with the handsome prince was refreshing. In the same time fake Naveen's trying to play his role, as the magic loses its power was kind of pathetic and unfortunately not that funny... global, ensemble the scene was ok...

TANGLED

Much in the style of Beauty and the Beast the prince dies and then comes back to life. I really liked the scene and I found it sad, even though I was certain that Disney won't permanently kill Flynn. (Just a side note - Lol, there was a little girl in the cinema, who started crying when he died, I really wanted to tell her he's going to live :P) Anyway, the citations "You were my new dream" "And toi were mine" are epic and really touching! This death and resurrection scene is emotional and sweet and sad in the same time.

(More a "question piece" than an "opinion piece"...commentary will be very helpful for my third and final write-up on Aurora's personality)

I cannot remember if I read this somewhere ou if I misread something about Rapunzel who has three books... but Aurora seems to have 2 books?

Now, if this is correct, then I'm so happy! Partly because it supports my belief that she's educated (=obviously literate) well beyond the regular peasant, but also, makes her all the better of a role model which might make her 2nd fav princess now (Sorry Cindy).

Historically speaking (=14th century, 1300s), she is set...

I had my liste perfectly figured out. Then I saw Frozen. Now it has changed again. It's harder now than it was before to place everyone, especially after deciding I l’amour both Anna and Elsa in addition to all my older favorites. My liste could still change again after I think about it even more, but for now here it is.
13. Snow White
Well she dropped back to last again after moving up an impressive two places. (She's always been low on my list.) She just kind of annoys me with her high pitched voice and I've just never been drawn to her like the other princesses. I really don't like her hair either....

Hello there. I might not be able to fully express myself in this and since this is my first time posting an article like this. So,be warned. ^^"
Lets begin!

11) Ariel.
Now,I don't HATE Ariel. I just never really found her all that interesting. She does have her moments where I like her at.
I did like it when she went to the Ursula to turn into a human. Most people think that was a bit selfish of her. I don't though,it was for love. She loved Eric and wanted to be with him.

10) Tiana.
Like with Ariel,I don't hate her. She was an okay character and I really liked her personality. I just...

I went ahead and watched the Little Mermaid for a probably another million times today, no, not for the sake of throwing myself into whirlpool of Ariel/Eric related feelings ou fangirling over Ariel’s omg so awesome mermaid species and not even in order to procreate another lengthy and insightful analysis from the perspective of social critique and how patriarchy and condemnation of natural curiosity affects women but on behalf of documenting - in the most objective manner possible and without examining the thorough underlying subtext - actual plot points such as:

A) during the Grotto sequence...

I honestly don't think Merida's new look is the end of the world.

I mean there is a petition to get rid of her new look and it is ridiculous and I will tell toi why.

1. "she doesn't look real" Oh well guess what SHE IS A CARTOON CHARACTER!

2. "in the movie she was so strong and the new look makes her look weak" But she was still able to climb, do archery, ride a horse, and fight against her dad to save her mother yet somehow because she looks a bit sparkly she is weak. toi do know that there are plenty of skinny women who are strong as hell.

3. "this is a bad influence on my child" Okay let me...

 I, I l’amour You, Like a l’amour Song Baby.
I, I Love You, Like a Love Song Baby.
This was a very disappointing countdown for me personally, hopefully it isn’t for the rest of you

10: A Girl Worth Fighting For

I need a l’amour song for Mulan and couldn’t really think of one besides this one as everyone a dit it was plus of a sidekick sound and not really a l’amour song.

Comments "It's humorous, not romantic. It's an okay song, but a bad l’amour song if toi get my drift." AllegroGiocoso
"I l’amour this song, but not as a l’amour song...and I don't think it's supposed to be one." Swanpride
"As many people have already said, I don't consider it a l’amour song, and it doesn't work as one for...
