10. Snow White's Awakening
Although the scene was very touching with Snow White awakening, it lacked a lot of substance. The Prince seemed to come out of know where after barely appearing in the movie at all. I feel like there was a big gap in this plot, but it's still beautiful nonetheless.
9. Cinderella Fits the Glass Slipper
I'm sure we can all say that we were extremely happy when Cendrillon fit the glass slipper, and the evil step mother's plan failed. However, it was fairly predictable and Cendrillon and Prince Charming barely even knew each other so it definitely made the moment less moving.
8. Tiana and Naveen Transformation
This was once again a fairly predictable situation, but I will admit it was absolutely beautiful. I was ecstatic to see them change back and be so happy together.
7. The Beast's Transformation
Don't get me wrong Beauty and the Beast is my favori movie, but we all knew this was going to happen. I hate to put it so low, but it just doesn't have the same effect on me as the others do. It's one of the best stories of all time in my opinion, but I think the fact that we all knew that Belle would break the spell kind of took away from the magic.
6. A Whole New World
This scene was so magical it's hard to describe. I mean imagine flying through the clouds seeing the world with the person toi love. Not only was the scenery breathtaking, but the song was just as impressive.
5. Ariel Changes Back Into a Human
A scene so beautiful it stays engraved in your mind. Everything from Triton finally letting his daughter go to the beautiful sparkly dress Ariel comes out of the water with, demonstrates pure magic. It's so inspiring to see Ariel finally getting to be "part of their world".
4. Aurora and Philip's Final Dance
This scene is so elegant and enchanting. The visual effects are stunning and the musique is hypnotic. I personally think it's one of the best dance scenes in all of Disney history.
3. "I l’amour toi Daddy"
A very emotional scene I think because of King Triton's huge sacrafice. He's giving up his daughter. Although Triton can come off as stubborn and harsh sometimes, it's really all out of love. He loves and treasures Ariel so much that he's willing to set her free. When Ariel says "I l’amour toi Daddy" it's so reassuring to know that despite her new accueil on land, she will never forget where she comes from.
2. Mulan's Homecoming/"The greatest gift of all is having toi as a daughter"
This scene gets me crying every time. toi can really see how much Mulan's father loves and misses her. I l’amour how she thinks he will be impressed with all the gifts the emperor gives her ("They're gifts from the emperor."), but as soon as he sees her he just drops them to the ground and hugs her like there's no tomorrow ("The greatest gift of all is having toi as a daughter. I've missed toi so."). It really tugs on your heartstrings and I think that's where the magic lies.
1. Pocahontas and John Smith's First Meeting
Okay, I think anyone who has seen Pocahontas can agree with me that this part gives toi chills. It's so visually stunning with Pocahontas's striking face and her hair blowing in the wind. John Smith comes off as a harsh English savage, but as soon as he lays his eyes on Pocahontas, his guard goes down and he lowers his gun. The entire scene is so mesmerizing and sheer perfection. It's the beginning of one of the most beautiful Disney l’amour stories of all time.
