Princesses Disney Article: Faux Disney Princesses

I know what you’re thinking, “They’re not Disney Princesses,” but hear me out: They are from Shrek, which parodies Disney films. As such, it’s not much of a stretch to assume this group of princesses are a parody of the Disney Princess.

Here we have: Princess Fiona (of course), Snow White, Cendrillon (whose real name I think is Cynthia), Sleeping Beauty (whose real name I think is Princess Talia) and Rapunzel (who is really the villain).

Here are their stories:

Princess Talia - She was cursed par the evil fairy Carabosse to die on her 16th birthday, which happened, but her Prince gave her True Love’s Kiss.

Snow White - She fled to the dwarfs’s cottage after the Evil Queen plotted to kill her. When she was asleep due to the Poisoned Apple, her coffin was moved to Shrek’s swamp and during the events of Shrek 1, her sister Rose Red awakened her.

Cendrillon - The Fairy Godmother made her a biological Princess with her magic.

Rapunzel - She was sent to live with her godmother, Dame Gothel, who is a good witch in this version. She met and married Prince Marco, but she eventually fell in l’amour with Prince Charming, her TRUE love.

Of course, we all have our faves and we feel a certain way when our favori princesses are getting criticized. For me, I do feel like Tiana gets quite a bit of flack, some deserved but some is quite overboard. For example, people call Tiana mean and even ruthless for simply doing what rayon, ray tells her par leaving him to fight off the shadows par himself but if she went against his orders, toi know that would be yet another opportunity for people to call her condescending. So I'm just gonna counter some complaints against Tiana.

Human Tiana is plus likable than frog Tiana.
Not really gonna disagree...

Both versions of Belle are fine, but there is something about both of them that people l’amour that makes them prefer one over the other. The people who picked original Belle grew up with Paige O'Hara's voice who put her cœur, coeur and soul in her role as Belle, and then the people who picked remake Belle like that she's an inventor. I know La Reine des Neiges isn't part of the Disney Princess franchise but this movie was on the liste of films to watch for months before I finally started doing these articles so please just go with it. ou don't read it. Whichever keeps things drama free.

I'm on a villain appreciation kick right now and since the blatant drainage of all the charisma from his character in the remake is still fresh in my memory I figured I'd give Gaston some props. Hello ! I thought a liste of the DPs and what I like/dislike about them would be a good way to introduce myself to this club, so here it is ! Making this list, I was surprised at how difficult it was. I have a few princesses I dislike, but I really l’amour most of them and it was hard to class them all. Some of them seem too low when I look at their rank, but then when I actually try to put them higher I realize I l’amour the ones above just as much !

Hi guys, I will write down some of the Princesses favourite songs par Alan Menken. However, I know that from the Little Mermaid onward with the exception of The Princess and the Frog, Rebelle and La Reine des Neiges were composer par him.

Okay, so this song was originally going to be in La Reine des Neiges prior to becoming a less adaptation of the original story. I personally think that it fits the 3 original princesses because the lyrics say it all!
