Hi!
Today I'll be sharing my ranking of the Latin Spanish voices of the Disney Princesses. I grew up with most of these voices so they're special to me. There are only two singers that I dislike in the list, but in general, I find most of the others very fitting for the characters. I'll probably be ranking the English and Catalan voices at some point, and maybe other languages too. I hope toi enjoy it, and I would l’amour to read your thoughts!
Let's start...

 Dulce ruiseñor, canta por favor
Dulce ruiseñor, canta por favor

#19 – Cendrillon 1950 (by Evangelina Elizondo)
I don't like her voice at all on Cinderella. I know she was 21 years old at the time of the dub, but she sounds much older. She also sounds unpleasant and unfitting imo, and overrated par most of the Latin American fanbase.

Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor
Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor

#18 – Snow White 1964 & Aurora 1959 (by Lupita Pérez Arias)
Again, an overrated voice that I'm not a fan of. She was 39 years old when she voiced Aurora, and it's horribly noticeable. She gets a higher spot than Evangelina because she sounds a bit plus interesting, but I don't like her voice at all either. I think I prefer her Snow White.

Abran paso, aquí voy y ya llegaré
Abran paso, aquí voy y ya llegaré

#17 – Tiana (by Paula Arias Esquivel)
I can't really say anything bad about her, but she doesn't impress me either. I'm not interested in most of Tiana's voices, and sadly she's no exception.

Cabalgar, a volar, viento y cielo alcanzar
Cabalgar, a volar, viento y cielo alcanzar

#16 – Merida (by Yuridia)
I don't know how she ended up so low; her voice is powerful (almost intimidating), and I guess she fits. Maybe it's because I'm not emotionally attached to her voice and movie like with the others. But she's very good.

Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor
Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor

#15 – Snow White 2001 (by Vikina Michel)
The Snow White I grew up with. Her voice is really pretty, classic (for a modern dub) and a bit mature. Her only drawback is that she's quite forgettable imo, but when I'm listening to her I really enjoy her.

Todos tenemos que cantar con las montañas
Todos tenemos que cantar con las montañas

#14 – Pocahontas (by Susana Zabaleta)
I was never a huge fan of her but she's grown on me. Her voice is a bit too aggressive, but other than that now I enjoy her performance, even if she's not one of my favori Pocahontas. She sounds connected to the character.

Un misterio para todos Bella es
Un misterio para todos Bella es

#13 – Belle (by Lourdes Ambriz)
Her voice is a bit too mature for Belle, but she nails the emotions of the character. I quite like her in Belle (reprise). Oh, and she's a great opera singer!

El riachuelo me podrá contar del mundo aquel que tanto yo soñé
El riachuelo me podrá contar del mundo aquel que tanto yo soñé

#12 – Alice & Wendy (by Teresita Escobar)
The best old voice (from the 50s) on the liste for me. She sounds perfect for Alice! She sounds like a polite English girl. This is also perfect for Wendy, but I like her less there. And I l’amour her speaking parts too!

Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor
Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor

#11 – Snow White 1938 (by Diana Castillo)
My favori Latin Spanish Snow White. She doesn't sound as dark ou operatic as most singers from that era. There's some sweetness in her voice as well. I like her!

Pienso que todos son hijos de Dios
Pienso que todos son hijos de Dios

#10 – Esmeralda (by Fernanda Meade)
I thought she would end up much lower, but here she is! I can't really think of anything bad about her, she has the emotions needed, and her voice is actually very beautiful and fitting. I'm glad she got to open the haut, retour au début 10.

Libre soy, surgiré como el despertar
Libre soy, surgiré como el despertar

#9 – Elsa (by Carmen Saharí)
She has everything to be a perfect Elsa, however there's something that prevents me from loving her more. Maybe it's because, like Merida, she wasn't a huge part of my childhood. But I think her voice is very pretty and colorful! And her speaking parts are also great.

Quisiera ser como las aves que cantan
Quisiera ser como las aves que cantan

#8 – Aurora 2001/2008 (by Brenda Ruiz)
She's so high for the opposite reason that put Carmen and Yuridia lower. She was a HUGE part of my childhood; it's no secret that Sleeping Beauty has always been my favori Disney movie. And while I admit her performance is not the best (hey, at least she sounds like a 16 years old girl), I can't help but liking her. Her voice is sweet and delicate, and I think that's great for Aurora! <3

El exterior... quiero formar... parte de él...
El exterior... quiero formar... parte de él...

#7 – Ariel (by Isela Sotelo)
A bit mature but not old like Lupita. Her voice has so much energy and emotions and it matches the speaking voice (Gabriela León). Maybe not my favori Ariel right now, but she'll always be the best childhood Ariel I could have asked for. She'll always be special to me <3 Oh, and she's my favori Vanessa, she used to scare me a lot in that role!

Por fin sabré cuán lejos voy
Por fin sabré cuán lejos voy

#6 – Moana (by Sara Paula Gómez Arias)
I l’amour her voice!! One of the best voices of Moana. She sounds girly but very fitting and energetic. She's not higher because she can't dethrone old favorites, but I still l’amour her!
Fun fact: she's the daughter of Paula (Tiana).

Con un beso de amor soñé
Con un beso de amor soñé

#5 – Giselle & Anna (by Romina Marroquín Payró)
If it was for her Anna alone, she would be lower. I quite like her there, but global, ensemble it's not one of the most impressive voices. But she sounds pretty and fitting enough.
However, I absolutely adore her Giselle!! Sooo fitting and I l’amour her little twists. Her voice screams “childhood” to me, even when I heard her in Riverdale.

Juntos en un mundo ideal tú y yo
Juntos en un mundo ideal tú y yo

#4 – jasmin & Mulan (by Analí)
One of the most populaire Latin Spanish voices and it's easy to see why. Her jasmin is so wonderful <3 So exotic, fitting, magical and smooth! I still l’amour her voice as Mulan, though not nearly as much. But she remains great!!

Jamás lo haré, no hablaré de mi amor
Jamás lo haré, no hablaré de mi amor

#3 – Megara (by Tatiana)
I think she's one of the most original Megaras and I l’amour her! She shows Meg's broken side while still having the bitchy attitude. I l’amour her little twists and her voice is very pleasant. A big favorite!!

#2 – Cendrillon 1997 (by Natalia Sosa)
I'm running out of original comments, but I have to say that she's my favori Cinderella. Her voice is so beautiful, classic but with a modern touch, and so soft. Perfectly fitting for her face and character. I also l’amour her in Cendrillon III. One of my big favoris since childhood! <3

Esta vez, todo es diferente... Veo en tí la luz
Esta vez, todo es diferente... Veo en tí la luz

#1 – Rapunzel (by Danna Paola)
I thought Natalia would win the countdown, but I realized I slightly prefer Danna (though that could well change tomorrow lol). She was 15 when she dubbed Rapunzel so her natural youth helps a lot. Her modern voice fits the songs very well, and fits her face. Probably my favori Rapunzel as well. I don't know what else to say, I just think she's great! <3
PD.: I l’amour her jouer la comédie in Elite as well xD

Hope toi liked it ^^
I did say I was going to write Christmas related articles here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the liste can variate from person to person though I believe that most of toi will agree with my haut, retour au début 5. Anyway this was par far the hardest liste I've ever written, the haut, retour au début 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive ou is...

My liste hasn't changed all that much but I thought after rewatching Aladin I would write an updated list.

13. Merida- Not a fan, I'm all for female empowerment but I don't like her attitude. She is just so rude & I do not find her likeable.

12. Elsa- She just really bugs me. I can't think of any other reasons but she just aggravates me.

11. Anna- Not keen on her either. She is not as bad as the other two but I'm not a fan, moving on.

10. Tiana- She is too much of a workaholic. I get that she has dreams to run her own restaurant but she can have fun once in awhile.

9. Jasmine- jasmin has really...

Inspired par link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with favori Openings. I actually really l’amour the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I l’amour the openings that give a plus magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope toi guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: La Reine des Neiges Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, toi might know plus than me ou know less than me. Either way enjoy lire and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's chemise is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only Disney villain...

Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I l’amour art! I l’amour culture, history, musique and I l’amour art. I have done some posts and votes about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would l’amour the most. (I could probably find a van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another article that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in Disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in...

I find majority of the DP films to be a bit scary, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to make a liste of the scariest movies, but it wasn't an easy liste to do, but as usual I hope you'll enjoy this article

12. Cinderella

Okay so the bottom 3 are the only ones I'm really sure about and especially number 12, I mean do I even need to explain why it's last? But luckily it's there for a good reason, but despite being last it does have a few scary moments, but nowhere near as much as the films above

11. Frozen

This movie also lacks scary moments, but I placed it higher because it...

You'll probably recognise some moments from my précédant articles, but there'll be new ones too so I hope you'll enjoy this article

10. Mordú

I'll just copy what I a dit in my précédant article: This ours is really scary looking imo especially with all of those arrows on him and the eyes are creepy too and his dark look also helps making him plus scary. Now his death isn't...

Because I am still in a musical mood but also ready for the "autumn/Halloween" mood, I'd like to incorporate the two! There aren't many DP villain songs global, ensemble but I came up with at least 9 that were good enough to use for the sake of this countdown. I rated each of the songs against how villainous the lyrics were, how villainous the musique sounds, how villainous the scene that accompanies the song in the film is and how villainous is the goal of the villain (or just the villain itself) chant the song? I ranked each song in the 4 categories and then ranked them global, ensemble par accumulative "evil"...

It is the mois of October which, in reference to DPs, definitely makes me think of the villains! Since I enjoy themes, October will have a "Halloween, Autumn, ou Villain" theme in most of my posts. This one is going with Halloween & Villains! I still cannot add any photos to these articles but I will be doing so as soon as possible. I only included the villains that I actually remember doing an "evil laugh" in their original film:

9. Governor Ratcliffe- Pocahontas: Not really an evil laugh, plus of a "bad person" laugh. Not too scary.

8. Lady Tremaine- Cinderella: Although it's evil,...

I have recently learned that the red hair is a recessive gene and will eventually die out in centuries to come. To think of it, it is very sad as I absolutely l’amour the fiery reds. So this article is inspired from this récent learning and to dedicate to my favourite hairstyle among all princesses.

13. Cinderella:
I hated putting her so down, especially she being my 3rd favourite princess. I hate the length of her hair, its like neither here nor there. I'd say, being a house maid, the poney with simple tie-band suited her purpose. I actually liked her cute little braids in the morning. But when...

salut everyone! So a really talented writer on this site had posed a question about which princesses fit best as Friends into friend groups. This made me very happy because I honestly think about this all the time (Disney Princess crossovers) so I was excited about the opportunity to read other fans' opinions. After lire many people's opinions and putting careful thought into this, I believe I have come up with groups that best fit the personalities involved. I would l’amour to hear what toi guys think, see if toi agree ou disagree and why so please feel free to leave detailed comments. Thanks!...

Since I'm being so villainous, it seemed like an appropriate time to share MY OPINIONS on DP films villains and rank them in order. (Joke intended :D)

So here goes:

1. Maleficent:
with her one nasty evil stroke, she set the stage, She didn't dabble in small time efforts. Her character is the most alluring and unique. She was a fairy, but an evil one. She has the aura of an enchantress. I loved her confidence when she took the stage while casting out the spell.
The best villainy traits: downright evil, need no disguise, doesn't flaunt but does every act confidently and with most style.
