I know La Reine des Neiges isn't part of the Disney Princess franchise but this movie was on the liste of films to watch for months before I finally started doing these articles so please just go with it. ou don't read it. Whichever keeps things drama free.

Tonight's rewatch: Frozen
Last time watched: 2014

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 20 going on 21 when this movie was released in theaters so I wasn't exactly a kid, plus like a kid at heart. I wasn't excited about this movie at the time and it didn't help when Disney released childrens livres that spoiled the plot, including the Hans spoilers, a mois ou two before the movie actually released. I didn't read the book but a user was oh so kind enough to go on the Disney Princess spot's mur and announce that to everyone so then I Lost even plus interest. It wasn't until the movie came out and everyone was talking about it and going on about how good it was that I decided to go see it. Here's how much I liked it; I watched it 3 times in theaters (once with my oldest sister, once on my birthday with my husband, and one plus time with my mom and niece when I was feeling depressed). It was almost 4 once Disney released the sing along version but I didn't have a ride to the movie theater so I had to sit that one out. Eventually my hype for the movie kinda died but I still l’amour listening to the soundtrack over and over again and I still like getting merch every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:
As I've a dit before in my article about the Cendrillon remake, since I watched this movie somewhat recently there isn't much about this movie I forgot.

And since we're getting to the films I haven't watched that long il y a (next one will be a movie I watched in 2015) I've decided to start talking about the things I l’amour about the films I've recently watched. It won't be different from me talking about how much I forgot since I talk about how much I l’amour those films too anyway.

The only thing I really forget about this movie is how things weren't even explained properly like how Elsa got her powers in the first place ou how even after the movie made it clear that she couldn't control her powers she suddenly knew how to create a palace and alter her dress and make sentient snow creatures ou how Elsa could have kept her powers secret from everyone when there had to have been news of a princess having ice powers, right? At least with Rapunzel's magic hair the only one who knew was Mother Gothel.

Why I l’amour this movie so much:
So first, I'll be talking about the personal reasons for why I loved this movie so much. At the time this movie released one of my sisters was going through a rough time (not going to give any details) so I wasn't seeing that much anymore. Elsa and Anna reminded me so much of my relationship with my sister because we used to be so close when we were little but as she got older we drifted apart. We're fine now but it was still such an emotional time and watching La Reine des Neiges helped me with what I was going through.

The way Elsa was in this movie reminded me so much of me too. I've had depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember and I'm prone to panic/anxiety attacks and I was alone for most of my life because I was different from other kids and was called a freak. I know I sound like a broken record when I say this but Let it Go did help me with my depression and would help me feel better with what I was going through at the time. And I remember when I first watched the movie even I was thinking, "Wait, what?" when Anna a dit yes to Hans' proposal so early in the movie. I don't have an issue with the use of True Love's Kiss in the earlier films ou couples getting married at the end of their films even after knowing each other for a few days because those are films about romance and fairy tales and at least for most of these couples we spend an entire movie getting to know these characters. Hans and Anna getting engaged so early in the movie after knowing each other only for a few hours was just...I'm sorry, I couldn't. My husband tried proposing to me when we hadn't even officially met face-to-face yet (we met online and skyped for 2 years before actually meeting each other in person) and I knew that was a bad idea and we broke up after living together for a few months. It all obviously worked out but I'm still with Elsa on this one.

Anna, also, reminded me of myself too. There's times where I get really excited like Anna, I get awkward, and I talk a lot. I've actually a dit some things Anna a dit before I even saw the movie. It's gotten to a point that, again, like Anna, I get called annoying for how I act.

Now I'm going to talk about the movie itself.

First off, I loved Elsa and Anna's relationship. Their relationship at the beginning of the movie, not the whole movie in general since they were seperated for most of it. I'm glad that in the La Reine des Neiges shorts we get to see the sisters together plus and I can't wait to see plus of them together in the sequel.

The animation for the snow and ice is probably my favori thing in this whole movie. I l’amour snow so seeing it animated so beautifully in films like this and Rise of the Guardians always makes me so happy. I know it will never happen but if Disney ever built Elsa's ice palace in one of their parks I would give up all my money for plane and park tickets. (okay maybe not go that far but that's how much I l’amour her ice palace)

Kristoff may not be my favori hero but his scenes with Svens always make me laugh. I'm also one of those people who has "conversations" with my pets like Kristoff and Sven do.

I don't like the whole soundtrack (Frozen cœur, coeur and Reindeers are Better Than People are almost forgettable to me and I'll listen to In Summer and Fixer Upper occasionally) but the ones Anna and Elsa sang were always my favorites. Any time I watched the films in the past I got plus excited to watch their musical numbers than anything else in the movie.

Even though he's like Disney's version of Minions, I can't not l’amour Olaf. Every time I see that little guy I want to give him a warm hug. I even have a cardboard cutout of him that I got after La Reine des Neiges came out on dvd. And I want an Olaf waffle maker sooooo bad. I wish I liked his song plus but it just feels meh compared to Let it Go and First Time in Forever. Though my favori lyrics will forever be
Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle
But put me in summer and I'll be a-....HAPPY SNOWMAN!

I still spend the movie looking at Hans for subtle hints of his true character and while I like that the writers of this movie put in these hints I wish they didn't make them so easy to miss. Before watching this movie again today the only memorable hints I could think of were just him gesturing the kingdom when he was talking about "finding his own place" and then later looking up at the chandelier before having one of the Duke's men shoot an Arrow at it and having it almost crush Elsa. Everything else I have to look up on IMDB's trivia page for this movie. Maybe if that jerk user hadn't spoiled the twist before the movie came out maybe I would have actually been surprised ou maybe liked the twist more. I still liked the line, "If only there was someone out there who loved you." That still feels like a stab to the cœur, coeur every time I watch it.

I did like that to save Anna it had to be an Act of True l’amour instead of True Love's Kiss. It was a nice change, especially for a movie that was supposed to be about sister love. I'm not sure it was really earned in this movie though since we don't see a lot of positive interactions between Elsa and Anna before the climax of the movie.

I think Kristoff and Anna are a cute couple and I like them a lot plus than Tiana and Naveen as a couple. I even l’amour their short scenes together in the shorts, especially his, "I l’amour you, baby!" I can't wait to see plus of them together in the sequel.

Princess and Queen:
As I mentioned before I l’amour Anna and Elsa. I used to l’amour Elsa plus than Anna but now I l’amour them equally. Elsa is 5 on my liste but I'm keeping her there, but Anna is going to be moving from 8 to 6.

Movie:
I hate to say this but I actually felt...bored. I used to l’amour watching this movie when it first came out but this time, for some reason, I didn't have fun watching it anymore. I just ended up having this movie on for background noise until the climax came up then I was interested again. Maybe it's because I've gotten to a point in life where I just take films too seriously instead of sitting down an enjoying them. I'm hoping that the sequel will do what this movie should have done and make it actually about the sisters and actually explain Elsa's powers. This movie is 8 on my liste but I'm going to keep it there.

Rating: 6/10

Would I watch it again?
Yes, maybe with my sisters ou nieces and nephews.

suivant movie will be both the La Reine des Neiges shorts!
I'm actually looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to watching this a little plus than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cendrillon I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to watching this one.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the article for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made commentaires about how I don't like this movie because it's been a dit that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also a dit I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now toi should all know what I write about in these articles so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as toi can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field jour with it. Personally, the plus research I did on the situation around this film, the plus I was actually fascinated par it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot plus nuanced than toi think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, toi can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending ou critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...

Cinderella château and Wishing Well

I've written many posts about the various attractions in Disney theme parks based around the films I've been watching. Some have been prominent rides such as Snow White's Scary Adventure ou Pinocchio's Daring Journey. Others have been obscure areas such as the Fantasia golfing attraction ou ephemeral like Bambi's presence in the parks. Some have merely been meet and greets.

Cinderella, however, is a film whose impact on Disney theme parks is huge. It forms, after all, the centre-piece of Disney World itself - Cinderella's Castle; a massive structure visible...

A Disney Tale: A young girl is forced into drudgery par her step-family, only to win the cœur, coeur of the kingdom's Prince and live happily ever after.

Disney Hero: Ostensibly, the 'hero' of Cendrillon is the Prince (never actually referred to as Prince Charming, despite that being what he is generally known as today. Some sources have him named as Henry.). It is he who romances Cendrillon and desires her as his wife after the ball. But, actually, the real Heroes of Cendrillon - for me - are Jaq and Gus, Cinderella's mice friends. They are the one's who rescue Cendrillon from her attic room. Jaq...

This is what I think Merida's princess liste would be if she were fan of Disney Princesses. We will never know for certain what Merida's princess liste would be, but we can make general assumptions. I think while some of toi may not agree with every placement, the general ranking of who would be at the bottom, middle , and haut, retour au début of her liste will be the same in all of our opinions:) Thanks to wavesurf for helping me out!

10. Aurora

Predictably, Merida wouldn't have a taste for the classic princesses. Aurora would likely be in last place. Merida's main gripe against Aurora would be that she let...

toi can call this an article to defend the princesses. Not only Classic DPs, other princesses probably get a lot of hate on any false statement. Those misconceptions which people tend to hate some DPs about, aren’t entirely true btw.

Snow White – Backboneless

Umm, some people do say this at times. Just because she was in distress and was rescued par a man, doesn’t mean she’s backboneless. Okay, fans might blame her for overacting and being afraid of some trees, but that isn’t timid. Some people have a mental disorder called Nyctohylophobia, that is the fear of trees. So, facing...
