Hello guys!! To those who recognize me, I hope you're all doing well! I've been busy with college apps and life in general, but I've been well! To those who don't, nice to meet you! I used to frequent this site a couple years ago. :) Anyway I'm just going to go straight into the review! There won't be any large plot type spoilers, but if toi want to go in knowing absolutely nothing, I would recommend not reading!

~~~~~~~
I just got accueil from seeing this beautiful film and I need to let out all my feelings somewhere, but hopefully this will be somewhat coherent and not come across as a giant rant with paragraph breaks. I have such a huge smile on my face as I write this, because this movie just made me so damn happy!
The Soundtrack
Guys this movie sounds breathtakingly beautiful. The score, the songs, it all just creates an environment and immerses toi immediately into the Polynesian culture. Getting some fresh blood with Lin-Manuel, the creator of Hamilton (which also has an 11/10 soundtrack), was such a great idea and it really brought a brightness that I loved. The entire soundtrack just put a smile on my face. There's a force that comes with these songs, a power behind them, that I really enjoy. There's also no shortage of reprises, and I l’amour a good reprise. Even the songs that would generally read as filler like Shiny and You're Welcome just put a huge smile on my face (I loved the revisiting of you're welcome throughout the film, and I have to admit that song is still stuck in my head). Shiny could get some hate, but I don't think it's deserved. The song is showy and glamorous and totally ridiculous and I l’amour it for what it is.
The way the film uses musique to introduce us to the Polynesian culture through Where toi Are and We Know The Way is so great. The songs, rather than sounding like filler, are so rich with culture and emotion that toi feel immediate immersion into this rich and beautiful culture. Moana herself really carries this though, with How Far I'll Go being both beautiful and infectious, and the reprise being just as powerful. I l’amour how the movie uses the musique to montrer Moana's character growth. Moana's voice actress does such an incredible job emoting and I'm amazed that she's only sixteen (The Rock also did an incredible job). The score of course didn't disappoint either, adding to the ambiance.
The Animation
It's stunning. Moana is stunning. The ocean is stunning. The island is stunning. It's all just stunning! The bright couleurs are so vibrant and plentiful that it's impossible to not be mystified! The entire first half heure of the movie is animation-orgasm worthy! Moana herself is of course stunning. Her hair is so luscious and I l’amour how Disney does different things with it. I definitely think she's the most beautiful 3D princess and Disney has really gotten the hang of animating these 3D beauties. She just radiates a certain happiness and loveliness that's infectious.
Disney is also willing to go many different places with the animation. Certain song scenes have different animation and mixes of animation and changes with light and texture and it's just really refreshing to see. The way Disney plays with light and dark and florescence and blackness is just incredible. There's a fluidity and naturalness to the animation that's really welcome to see in a 3D movie from Disney. The details are another aspect that I think really make the movie, donné that they're all shown so much individualized care so that every little bit of it is perfect.
The Characters
I l’amour Moana. She's just..so great! I feel like I need to watch it many plus times till I can grasp everything that is Moana. She's so fascinatingly multifaceted and she certainly merges the headstrong female character with a welcome sense of insecurity and self doubt that reminds me of Rapunzel (though the characters have many differences). Seeing her journey and how she found her "way" really touched me. I liked seeing how driven she was, but how she was relatable in her wavering and doubt that followed her. The way she could always pick herself up and continue on with her dreams really made me smile though. She almost has to convince herself that she's strong, and she doubts it many times, but she kinda plays the whole "fake it till ya make it" and eventually does get there, which is so beautiful to see. She's stubborn, but not in a way where it endangers others. She's so extremely caring and will do anything for the ones she loves and before I rant on and on about her I'll end it here, but expect a character analysis of her soon! I need a whole article to express how much I l’amour this beautiful girl!!
Maui was a lot better than I thought. I was slightly worried he would be unlikable, but that certainly isn't the case. He's a lot plus than the lovable, slightly snarky sidekick. I loved how we got his backstory and also saw how he too had insecurities and doubts behind that demigod persona. He was so ridiculous and his chemistry with Moana was absolutely perfect. Grandma of course was also absolutely brilliant. I loved how she helped out Moana and led her to be able to find herself. She was a comedic relief type character, but she didn't read as one. She was able to balance both comedy and heart, which I really enjoyed. I'm glad that she played a larger role in the movie than I had thought, and thoroughly enjoyed every scene she was a part of!
Finishing Thoughts
I a dit this would be plus ou less spoiler free, so I won't get into plot, but that's probably where the movie struggles most. Moana isn't doing anything any other Disney movie hasn't done, but it's taking all those aspects together and doing something so great with them. Moana herself is so beautiful that the movie would've been great regardless of the movie she was put in, and I'm so hopeful that Disney will include her in the princess lineup. As I said, another article will be coming, one much plus thought out and not written at 1 AM after getting back from the movie theater, but for now I'll end it on this: If you've seen this movie, please fangirl about it with me in the commentaires and if toi haven't see this movie, please go see it and then proceed to fangirl about it with me in the comments. Thank toi so much for reading, have a lovely day/night/evening/afternoon/etc. :)
I'm fed up now. My favori princesses are the least popular. At least in fanpop it is. Elsa, Anna and Moana.. All of their value has been forgotten. The most overrated princesses today are Ariel, Belle, Cendrillon and Aurora. Especially Ariel, it's so overrated that I can't stand it. The best of everything was "ARIEL" lady. The most beautiful: Ariel, THE BEST AGAIN ARIEL. I will go mad. Do toi know the hit song "What's my name" par Uma in Descendants 2? I wrote a song with the melody of this song, remember it is not copy right free.
This is all hands on fanpop
Anna and Elsa are two of Disney's most passionate, determined, and independent leading ladies. Their time in La Reine des Neiges and La Reine des Neiges 2 has been full of action, adventure, and compassion. It's no wonder that their adventures have struck a chord with so many fans. Here is why we should find out why they are in the line of the suivant generation of Badass Female Characters!
1. Their Sisterly l’amour Always Saved The Day!
Girls if there is one thing that we've seen in both La Reine des Neiges movies, it's that it was never a prince charming ou knight in shining armor who came in to rescue princess and defeat the villain...
When Rapunzel heard the call from outside her tower, she assumed it was her mother, and her cœur, coeur sank. Normally she'd be glad to see her, but after their argument, she was less eager.
Well, it wasn't really an argument. Those things kind of required two people arguing. It was plus Mother lecturing and Rapunzel listening. But it was unpleasant enough for Rapunzel to feel bad about it even after her mother left.
When she went over to the tower window, she looked down—and gasped.
It definitely wasn't her mother. She didn't have too clear a view from her tower, but the figure at the bottom was...
1. How does it feel to be fan of the Month?
I was fan of the mois once a long time il y a and while back then it was a bit of a shock this time, it's not that surprising :) I don't mean that in a self-centered way, comparing to how active I was in the past to now, I like to think I'm somewhat well-known for a ton of users here like KataraLover ou sunnyfields. I'm honored to be the first fan of the mois since it has been brought back.
2. Who is your favori princess and why?
My favori princess is Mulan because I used to relate to not being good enough for my family and wanted to do something...
Snow White
Snow White is well known for her kindness and optimism — both of which act as her greatest strengths, as they've guided her safely through the various hardships faced throughout her life. She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the Seven Dwarfs rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. Coined as the "Fairest One of All", Snow White's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With no negativity within her, Snow...
Here's the final article! I got to say, I'm kinda bummed that not a lot of people participated in this but it is what it is :)
Favorite Aladdin
O and R 1
Personally, I thought Mena did a great job for the most part, but Aladin was changed from being a confident smooth talker to a socially awkward dork (and I mean dork in a nice way). The original Aladin had a couple awkward moments where he stumbled over the right words ou a dit the wrong thing but they barely happened. Remake Aladin suddenly became incredibly awkward at the drop of the hat at one point in the movie. Some people probably...
Some people say he's forgettable but I think people automatically dismiss him just because he's not dramatic, theatrical and "hammy" like other Disney villains. I personally think he's pretty badass and ruthless.
Shan Yu is actually kind of similar to Mulan in that while everyone agrees that they both do remarkable things, some people think their personalities are on the boring side but I think it's unfair to dismiss any princess who isn't overtly dreamy, bubbly ou feisty in some way (Mulan) and any villain who isn't over the haut, retour au début and in your face (Shan Yu) as boring. There are other ways to...
 J-Pop Moment.
J-Pop Moment.
Hi guys, this liste is something like the K-Pop liste that I made previously. Only this time, it's their Japanese counterparts. Ready?
1) Moonlight Densetsu (DALI)
Taken from the populaire Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. This song has always been part of my childhood and being a Die-Hard Sailor Moon fan, the princess will support them, especially on International Women's Day!
2) Shunken Sentimental (Scandal)
This is the first time that I'm listening to it, and while doing so, I notice that it sounds like some of Paramore's songs. In particularly, Misery Business.
3) Hitohira No Hanabira (Stereopony)
