 Hello Pocahontas!
Hello Pocahontas!
Hi guys, since my favourite Pop versions of Reflection made it to the front page. Now, it's Pocahontas's turn for the pop version of her signature song, Colours of the Wind.

Brazilian Portuguese (Daniela Mercury)

I l’amour how the intro and the instrumental version is different from the original Vanessa William's version. Daniela's version has a calm and strong voice, she starts of very soft and it was not until the first chorus that she comes out of the shell with a strong personality.

Cantonese (Amanda Lee)

Another version sung in Cantonese that I really like, and I have to say Amanda is much plus gentle than Vanessa and I personally felt that this is how the song should sound like.

Castilian Spanish (Veronica Romero)

Like Brazilian Portuguese, she comes off as very soft during the first verse, in fact this version is very calm and gentle compare to the first 2 singers stated here. Wonderful arrangements too and it sounds like that they added Spanish guitare to make it sound very Spanish-oriented style.

Danish (Monique Spartalis)

Her voice eerily reminds me of Maria Lucia Rosenberg at some part, her rendition, especially her voice has a bit of a rock & roll quality and it is like Pocahontas has become a bad girl already! But overall, good job.

English (Vanessa Williams & Coco Lee)

The original version that I grew up with, I l’amour Vanessa's version because she has a very strong voice that it grew on me. I recently listened to the Coco Lee's version and I immediately l’amour it!

European French (Native)

I l’amour how it is sung in a duet and Laura sounds different here than in the movie. She has a rock and roll quality in her voice!

Finnish (Arja Koriseva)

Considering that she is a tango singer, I was really surprise that she nailed this song perfectly. She has a very soothing voice and I was very happy she really was the perfect choice to voice Pocahontas!

German (Jennifer Rush)

My opinion on her is the same as both her Finnish and Brazilian Portuguese counterparts, she comes off as very gentle and gradually very strong during the chorus and the later parts of the song.

Icelandic (Margret Eir)

She sounds like Pocahontas became an innocent Icelandic girl, however she is also very strong during the seconde chorus onward.

Norwegian (Anita Skorgan)

The seconde Scandinavian version that I fell in love, she sounds like Vanessa William has learn Norwegian and sang this version!

Polish (Edyta Gorniak)

I had seen the musique video and she dressed up like Pocahontas, except the hair. My first impression is very unpleasant as I am not use to listening to her voice, especially the first verse itself. But she smoothed herself later on!

Taiwanese Mandarin (Winnie Shin)

Another amazing version and her voice is youthful and at the same time, smooth. I personally felt this is how Pocahontas should sound like in the movie!

Thai (Rawiwan Chinda)

For the same reason as her Mandarin version, her voice in this song is very pleasant to listen to unlike her Polish counterpart.

Turkish (Sertab Erener)

I l’amour Turkish music, and I am very glad that she is exceptionally good for this song too. However, the song is really short.

Can toi Paint with all the Colours of the Wind?

I am quite surprise that all of them are quite good in their own rights!
My favourite artwork from the film.

Now a lot of toi are probably thinking, 'bluethunder25 Gothel can't be redeemed because first of all, she was 'too evil,' and two, she died from old aging and turned to dust.

Well as toi know, I've stated in précédant articles that I don't feel Gothel is entirely evil. As for the seconde one, if Gothel did in fact turn to dust, then I say, that means she has a good chance to come back to life which also means she has a good chance of a redemption. How? Allow me to explain.

Now first of all, before toi all freak out, no, Gothel's redemption won't be overnight, in fact, for Gothel's redemption arc,...

Which Disney Princess got to live in the most beautiful house? Which ruled the hearts of fans - the cottages, mansions ou humble homes?
Fans have voted and results are in! Here's a look how fans ranked the DP homes.

12. Aladdin's home:
Most fans understood that this barely counted as a home, but plus like a shelter to rest at night. It barely had anything, not even a door. Even though it had a great view, beautiful it surely wasn't.

anukriti2409: This is really an abandoned place, which Aladin uses for shelter. It's really downtrodden, with no furniture ou gate ou windows ou curtains. It's...

Like snow whites it's not an outfit toi would go on a rendez-vous amoureux, date with ou meet a handsome prince but for a worker then its the best for the job. 5/10

2. Ball dress A
Those step sisters just can't stand her and her dress as it was quickly destroyed. The dress is a rose mainly with a white lower section, rose heels...

6. Snow White's brown and white dress

I was kind of sad to see this dress be the first eliminated, although I expected as much. I'm rather fond of this dress for some reason. I'm not sure why. I actually like it better than her iconic dress - I think the couleurs look much nicer on her...

 Hello Kenny.
Hello Kenny.
Okay, since I had done with Enya. Now it's Kenny G's turn! Are toi ready?

1. Songbird

Whenever I listened to this music, Snow White would come to my mind since she loves birds, especially during the 'With a Smile and a Song' and the 'Working Song' scene.

2. par the Time the Night is Over

Ella and Kit/ Cendrillon and Prince Charming, I personally think it Suits – Avocats sur Mesure the latter plus because when the night is over, he will find the mysterious girl that fits the glass slipper.

4. Tiana's orange dress

I don't think this dress is ugly, but most users agreed that it was very plain, and some didn't like the color on Tiana very much.

It's not as cute as the others and it's not iconic like Belle and Snow White's dress. ~SarahCorine
It is also nice, but others are just better. ~hirohamada
Orange is not a flattering color on Tiana. ~wavesurf
Not interesting....

 Loving this movie.
Loving this movie.
Okay, I was watching the 2012 version of Les Miserables last night and I had seen the 2015 reboot of Cendrillon last month. Both films have a common theme with each other: Forgiveness. The characters also play a similar traits to each other.

Cinderella

While watching this movie last month, I keep thinking that the story reminds me of Les Miserables! Aside from the same filming location of France, certain scenes and characters remind of some characters from Les Miserables.
For example, during the scene after Lady Tremaine and the 2 stepsisters called Ella par her trademark name, Cinderella. The...

salut there! I'm isabellagirl033 and as toi all are well aware Cendrillon has been adapted many times into live-action films though only some manage to truely be a hit. I'm going to break down some of my favourite portrayals into my haut, retour au début 5.

5. Hillary Duff, A Cendrillon Story
Despite it's cringe-worthiness and lack of loyalty to it's source, I still managed to enjoy the movie. Tween icone Hillary Duff is the last thing that comes into my mind when I think of Cendrillon but she made a convincing one at that. I think this spot goes to Hillary Duff mostly due to...

I have already done this, a few months il y a actually and I decided to do it again. My opinion has changed a lot, because a lot of people have made good points and so many of these good points have changed my opinion quite s bit.

13. Aurora

It's not so much that I dislike her, it's just I found her kind of bland in her movie. She was boring, though I enjoyed her sweet personality. I get she had to sleep, it was simply a part of her story, but I just didn't get to know her much. I know it sounds kind of unfair, but I find it hard to place her higher.

The cast!
Hi guys, since La Reine des Neiges has took the world par storm, this article is basically about my initial impressions about the story-line, the songs and music, as well as the art and characters' designs back in 2003, 10 years before the movie that took the world par storm.

The Story

When I first heard that Disney was going to adapt the Snow Queen, my first impression was that it was going to be faithful towards the original story par Hans Christian Anderson. Secondly, I thought that it was about 2 sisters who one of them discover to have ice powers, according to a prophecy, were separated since they were...

Hi everyone!

In this article, I’m going to compare two films from the Disney Revival, one revolving around a Lost princess with magical golden hair, and the other revolving around two sisters, one of whom is a Queen with ice powers.

Part A.    Which is the "better" movie?

Tangled has a plus cohesive plot and seems to me to have deeper characters that interact superbly with each other. Emotions and thoughts were successfully conveyed with an abundance of facial expressions. The hair animation was astounding, but the skin and eyes could sometimes seem plastic-like ou lifeless....

12) The Princess and the Frog
I'm not positive but I think this has a somewhat large fanbase on Fanpop? Even if it doesn't, I don't think that I'll ever adore this film. I'll start with the positives. I l’amour Down in New Orleans and basically the whole beginning. When Tiana is human, it's actually very entertaining. I adore Lottie, and it just is, for lack of better word, better during this part of the film. It's funnier and much, much less obnoxious. I like Facilier and Tiana and Naveen is hilarious at times, but the seconde half of the film...oh lord. It's so annoying...half the time I can't...
