I started this article "series" almost a an ago, but abandoned my fandoms for a while (very sorry to the people who were looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to it), but now I'm back and want to continue the articles (hopefully consistently), please enjoy!

If any of toi are familiar with character stylization ou really art in general toi might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the auteur of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality is and compare it to the artist's (strictly NOT the writer ou director's) original idea of what they wanted the princess to come off as. And if this is at all interesting to toi toi can look up this with different artists par searching it as "the artist's definition of (their work)" and maybe toi can find this with other characters.

P.S I know I had to do a lot of digging on the older movies, because of the lack of documentation, so good luck on the ones post 1980's!

Cinderella -- Cinderella

At this point in time Disney had established itself as a beloved children's animation studio, however the studio was bankrupt at the time with Cinderella, seemingly, about to be the last animated feature to come out, because of this Cinderella's staff, especially animators, were low-budget. Eventually the honor of Cinderella's design (influenced par Mary Blair's artwork) was bestowed upon Marc Davis with Eric Larson and Les Clark as supervising animators.

Walt Disney had chosen Marc Davis specifically, because Mary Blair's art suggested softer lines and Davis was someone he new was very good with making soft characters, mostly do to his précédant creations like Bambi and Katrina van Tassel. In fact, around the studio he mostly animated animaux and Cendrillon was his seconde time animating a human character (with Alice, Aurora and La Fée Clochette soon to come).

Marc Davis was very fond of the "simple country girl" aspect for her design, but he wanted aspects of her to be beautiful to "really offset the ugliness of the step-sisters."
In many early concepts of Cendrillon she has hardly any features in attempt to match the Mary Blair art style, but eventually she started gaining plus detailed features with Davis favoring the sketches in which she had two plats on each side of her head.

Of course the live-action reference model had a lot to do with how Cinderella's hair and outfits eventually turned out, in fact Disney himself liked the model's style and jouer la comédie for reference and wanted her image nearly copied; However Davis didn't much care for her structure and designed Cendrillon par her voice actor instead of the model.

The question is: Does her finale form encompass the feeling the animator wanted for her character?

All in all I believe what he was trying to convey with Cinderella's looks is almost a chic country southern cloche, bell type of look, but covered with a messy and simple exterior, keeping her face light and regal, but still hinting that she sweats and works hard. The mental image I get in my head is Snow White with messy ponytails and dirt on her face, but still naturally pretty. Personality-wise I feel it'd be closer to Jessie from Toy Story ou Danielle from Ever After, which Cendrillon doesn't really have since it's much closer to Snow White.

Based on what I got from what he a dit and his concept art I feel like she turned out a bit too clean-cut and graceful like Belle. I think the "natural beauty" is definitely there seeing as Cendrillon wears no make-up with no harsh lines ou accessories, but I feel that the "country" aspect is lost, she doesn't really look too "girl" like ou "on the ranch," instead she actually leans plus towards a plus mature and graceful look.

Cinderella's outfit, though is very true to form it's simple and maid-like and looks like she takes care of all of the work and spends time in the farm, the fact that it isn't very flattering brings out the beauty beneath the rags which is definitely Davis' vision (and of course the theme of Cinderella). I do think it's a bit too maid-like though, and isn't something like an outdoor stable-hand outfit, (or closer to a milk-maid look) instead it gives me a 1940's housewife vibe.

I think his concepts can definitely be seen in the final product, but, for me, I don't think it fully encompasses what he was going for especially since his contribution to this version of Cendrillon was going to be a plus "simple country girl" type, which instead comes across as a similar "regal dainty southern bell."

So what do toi think; does Cendrillon perfectly embody what toi think her animator was going for, ou do toi think she's way off? Do toi agree with me? Would toi have preferred the animator's original idea ou what she turned out like? Tell me what you're thinking in the comments, especially tell me if you'd like to see plus (since I started this so long ago).
Merida was watching the bébés for the day, which gave the others PERFECT timing to prepare for her special feast. She LOVED them! She'd risk her own life for theirs. *Their lives are so pure!* she thought. That thought almost made her cry-literally. She briefly blinked to keep herself from breaking down. Suddenly, Mace began to climb on a foot stool.

"Whoa, lad! We don't want ya gettin' hurt!" Merida a dit as she rushed over and scooped him up. But all didn't go so well as he began to cry. "What's wrong, lad?" Merida sweet-talked. Thankfully, she knew what to do to cheer him up. She sat him...

jasmin was an average "rich girl, I get what I want" type. She had everything she wanted. But.. She wanted more. She had never really gotten the chance to leave her house before. So she went off, on an adventure. When she was off on her adventure, she met someone. But, that's not important. When she was walking around, she ran into an pomme Store.

I don't have to PAY for these, do I?

She ran in, tried to snatch an iPhone, succeeded, and left.

I guess I don't have to pay for them, great!

She ran away.

Merida saw this.

What does she even think she's doing?

Merida chased after her.

"Pitch, I need your help," Gothel pleaded.

He walked behind her, fiddling with her gray hair. "Why, Gothel, did toi do something to your hair?"

She quickly flipped her hair away from him. Defensively, she said, "That is why I need you! Will toi help me ou not?"

"Hmm," Pitch told her, "What do toi want, and what do I get?"

"I need toi to help me kidnap a young girl. As for your prize, toi can have me."

After long conversations, Gothel and Pitch agreed on a plan. After figuring out Gothel couldn't steal the princess' hair, she knew she would have to take the girl for herself. The king and Queen were...

The suivant morning Alexandra and Rose Red awoke early and they decided to awake Snow White.
"Is she always like that in the mornings ou is it just now", Alexandra asked Rose Red.
"When I was younger she wasn't, but now she loves to take long naps, but I don't know why she likes to do it", Rose Red answered.
"And toi of course have to wake her up every morning", Alexandra asked.
"Yes, it's only when I wake her up that she awakes", Rose Red answered.

And so they went into the bedroom where Snow White was sleeping.
"Come on, rise and shine Sleeping Beauty", Rose Red yelled.
"Stop call me Sleeping Beauty",...

"I'm not sure, Eric," Kuzco shrugged his shoulders. "I wasn't paying attention."

The girls giggled and squeaked. "I can't believe we got Ariel a date!" Arista squealed. "We won't tell Daddy, right?"

"Of course not! He's not going to know!" Adella scoffed.

"What are toi girls doing?" The girls abruptly stopped talking and tensed up. They slowly turned around only to see Eric with an amused smirk.

"Gee, Mr. Barnes! toi scared us!" Adella exclaimed, putting her hands to her face. The other girls also glared at Eric.

"Calm down!" Eric chuckled. "You are not in trouble." The girls relaxed a bit. They...
